Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for screen sharing recall is provided. The embodiment may include receiving a user-selected delay setting value. The embodiment may also include, in response to receiving an instruction from a user to begin a screen sharing session during a web conference, storing streamed frames captured of a user display screen in a buffer. The embodiment may further include, in response to a frame from the buffer satisfying the user-selected delay setting value, transmitting the frame to a graphical user interface associated with each other participant to the web conference. The embodiment may also include, in response to determining the user wishes to recall one or more frames stored in the buffer, performing a recall action.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for improving ease in transmitting information between peer devices. Communications devices establish a peer group. Each communications device in the group assigns different sections of its touchscreen to the other devices in the group. To transfer information to another device in the group, the user swipes on the touchscreen towards the assigned section for the target communications device. Upon detecting the swipe, and determining that the swipe was towards the assigned section, the communications device initiates a transfer of the information to the target communications device. This may involve confirmation at the device or a paired device before transfer, or no confirmation. Receipt of the information at the target communications device may trigger notifications to be displayed. It may also trigger a request for acceptance of the transfer at the target communications device after which receipt is confirmed.

Abstract: Methods and devices for selectively presenting a user interface for a phone application are provided. More particularly, a change in the display mode of a multiple screen device can be determined. More particularly, a presentation of a user interface for an in-process call of a phone application can be retained after receiving a flick in an off-screen gesture area of the device. However, the user interface moves from a first screen to a second screen (or vice versa) in response to receiving the flick. The user interface provides detail information about a phone call that is currently in-process.

Abstract: In a method for interacting with a graphical user interface, the graphical user interface is depicted with at least one image object on a display device. The viewing direction and the position of a user of the graphical user interface depicted on the display device is determined, and an image object viewed by the user that is depicted on the graphical user interface is determined from the detected viewing direction and position of the user. Moreover, the distance of the user from the viewed image object is determined from the position of the user and the position of the viewed image object on the display device. When it is determined that the distance of the user from the viewed image object has been reduced and the image object was still viewed by the user, additional information is output to the user.

Abstract: A process of selecting a recording on an audiovisual reproduction system consists of displaying a number of windows on a touch screen as an interface with a user. Items of information are stored in a bulk memory and are representative of an image of the album cover that is associated with each window and whose corresponding musical recording is stored in the bulk memory of the reproduction system. Each zone of a window is associated, via the touch-screen interface software, with at least one address for accessing the items of information in the database that is stored in the bulk memory belonging to the album cover whose image is displayed in the window that is touched by the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for, at a first electronic device with a touch-sensitive display, receiving a message from a second electronic device. The message comprises an original multi-word first text. A first representation of the original multi-word first text is displayed in accordance with a text effect in a messaging application. In response to a user input with respect to the first representation in the form of a tap gesture on the touch-sensitive display, the displayed first representation is transiently replaced with a display of the original multi-word first text for a predetermined time period. Without further user intervention, upon completion of the predetermined time period, display of the first representation is restored.

Abstract: One or more embodiments of the present disclosure include a content navigation system that allows a user to search, browse, and otherwise experience a collection of digital content items. For example, the content navigation system can provide a graphical user interface including a scroll element. One or more embodiments of the scroll element can include various navigational functions that provide a user-friendly interface for browsing and experiencing a collection of digital content items. Furthermore, the content navigation system can provide methods and systems for a user to easily configure the way in which the digital content items are organized within the user interface, thereby customizing the user's browsing experience.

Abstract: An application is installed on a device that includes a user interface comprising multiple elements organized in a hierarchy. The application communicates with an inspector tool that accesses the hierarchy. The inspector tool may be integrated into the application or separate from the application. During execution of the application, the inspector identifies an element in the hierarchy and presents information regarding the element. For example, a display region corresponding to the element may be highlighted or text regarding the element may be displayed. The hierarchy may be navigated by selection of items in the user interface itself, by selection of an item in the displayed information, by directional inputs, or any suitable combination thereof. Information displayed in the inspector may be configured by the application based on the identified element.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to techniques for enabling easy generation, editing, and access to digital content compilations, such as playlists, etc. Specifically, embodiments of the present disclosure employ one or more graphical user-interfaces that provide a playlist toolbar (e.g., a sidebar) after determining a user wishes to access a digital content compilation. Further, predictions may be made to determine potential activities associated with these compilations based upon previous actions performed by the user.
