    Abstract: An accessory, via several embodiments, is used to keep vehicle outside rear view mirrors clear of water, snow, ice, and dirt, using many available components mountable on supports of present vehicle outside rear view mirrors. Each accessory installation includes controls located inside a vehicle within convenient reach of a driver. In a preferred accessory embodiment for large trucks, a weatherproof housing is secured to standard supports, and inside is an electrical wiper motor and optionally a mirror washer liquid tank. Electrical circuit leads and liquid conduits extend respectively from the electrical wiper motor and the washer liquid tank into the cab of the truck, where an electrical switch and a liquid valve are located within reach of a driver. Also electrical leads extend from a switch in the cab to the rear of the outside rear view mirrors, where accessory heaters are mounted for use in snow and ice removal.

    Abstract: A brush assembly having a pair of elongate brushes mounted in a spaced apart manner on a base having an outer wall disposed about the brushes. A hanger engages a bath or shower enclosure member and includes a hook for insertion within an opening in said base. Handles on the base facilitate relocation of the base from a stowed position on the hanger into place on a wall surface. Wall attachment is by suction cups on the rear side of the base with a lever provided for urging the base away from a supporting wall surface and facilitating return of the brush assembly to a stowed position. A double sided adhesive member may be used to permanently secure the base to a wall surface.

    Abstract: A paint brush having a ferrule telescopically receiving a handle at one end and the bristles at the other is disclosed with supporting and prying means on one side thereof for adapting the brush to hang from the rim of a paint can, in spaced relation from the walls of the can, and to pry off the lid of the can. The supporting and prying device includes a prying portion which projects outwardly of the ferrule and a hook portion located between the prying portion and the end of the ferrule that receives the handle. An adapter member for adapting a conventional paint brush to hang from the rim of a paint can and to adapt the brush to provide a tool for prying open the can is also disclosed as including a base portion, a prying portion and a hook portion. The base portion is mountable to one side of the ferrule whereby the prying portion and the hook portion project outwardly from the base portion and the ferrule.

    Abstract: A bristle broom is provided with a plurality of relatively flexible, soft bristles the ends of which form the majority of the broom's sweeping surface, and a smaller number of relatively inflexible, stiff bristles the ends of which form a small portion of the sweeping surface adjacent one end thereof. The stiff bristles improve the broom's sweeping efficiency in corners and edges or in removing stubborn dirt while the remainder of the bristles retain the conventional sweeping efficiency of flat bristle brooms.

    Abstract: An improved windshield wiper assembly comprising at least one first wiping means, in the form of a rubber wiper blade, a second wiping means in the form of a scrubbing or scouring pad and a deformable bladder therebetween. The bladder can be engorged with windshield washer fluid, which causes the scrubbing pad to deform outwardly, or toward the windshield to be cleaned. As washer fluid leaks from the bladder through perforations and into the scrubbing pad, the windshield wiper is activated in a to-and-fro motion so that the scrubbing pad means scrubs dried insect debris from the windshield.

    Abstract: A brush includes a movable handle in the form of nippers and a head having a housing at least on one side, sized for receiving the handle. The latter is made up of two rods of equal length joined together at one of their ends and secured to the head by a set of notches and detents provided in the housing and the free ends of the handle. Securing of the handle to the head is obtained by latching of the detents in the notches. Such a brush is particularly advantageous inasmuch as it makes it extremely simple to replace the head by another one having identical or different size or shape.

The head portion may be presented parallel to the teeth and the bristles inserted between the dental brace and the side of the teeth.
