An alert unit is disposed within the receptacle and enabled in response to presence of the engaging member of the securing device within the receptacle. A communication device of the alert unit communicates with a target device associated with a user. A processor of the alert unit is configured to determine a distance to the user based on communication with the target device and control notification to the user in response to the distance to the user satisfying a threshold distance.
