Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for interpreting conference call interruptions is provided. The present invention may include analyzing a conference call including at least two participants. The present invention may also include identifying at least one interrupted segment in the analyzed conference call. The present invention may further include reconstructing the identified at least one interrupted segment of the analyzed conference call and integrating it with the uninterrupted (heard) portion of the conference call.

Abstract: A device for securing an external transmitter of a cochlear implant to the head of the wearer. A pouch containing the external transmitter is secured using a plurality of straps coupled to a decorative shell worn on a person's head. The pouch and the decorative shell are designed to allow sound to pass unhindered from the environment to the inner ear. The plurality of straps is adjustable to allow precise placement of the external transmitter over the internal receiver. The external transmitter is also secured using a pouch coupled to a decorative shell. The external transmitter is further secured using a sealer coupled to the transmitter and further coupled to the head using an adhesive barrier. The sealer is made of a semi-transparent material. The device ensures that an external transmitter remains in place.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing called devices with sets of context data associated with communication sessions are disclosed. In one implementation, a method for generating context data associated with a communications session may include receiving, from a calling device at a first subsystem, a request to establish a communications session. The request may include a first identifier associated with the calling device. The method may further include receiving, at a second subsystem, activities data associated with the calling device that transmitted the request to establish the communications session. The activities data may include a second identifier associated with the calling device and may be indicative of device activities of the calling device.

The method further comprises intermittently removing phone numbers from the list of newly assigned phone numbers. The method further comprises determining that a newly assigned phone number initiates a number of calls per unit time that exceeds a threshold number of calls per unit time. The method further comprises automatically flagging the newly assigned phone number as a possible robocaller.

Abstract: A computer-implemented visitation system includes tablet computer devices accessible to respective ones of authorized incarcerated inmates inside a correctional facility, and a visitation services computer system. The tablet devices and visitation services system are configured to: accept login credentials to uniquely identify one pre-registered authorized incarcerated inmates; establish an interconnection between a visitor computer device and the tablet computer devices to commence video visitation sessions without requiring endpoint control to schedule or initiate the visitation session by administrative personnel of the correctional facility; and apply a video visitation session charge.

Abstract: In some embodiments, gaze-tracking-based image downscaling for multi-party video communication may be provided. In some embodiments, a set of gaze locations may be received from a set of receiving devices during concurrent video communication sessions between the receiving devices and a sending device. Different collections of positions may be determined based on the gaze locations, and, for each such collection, a spatial indicator (e.g., a bounded region) may be determined. A first downscaled encoding of the source image (from the sending device) may be generated based on the first spatial indicator, and a second downscaled encoding of the source image may be generated based on the second spatial indicator, etc. The downscaled encodings may then be sent to the respective receiving devices during the concurrent video communication sessions.

Abstract: A system and method for a video conferencing system with meeting migration allows a client device to host a video conference meeting while connected to a video conferencing system in a first conference room. At any point during the meeting, the video conference may be paused and the current state of the video conference in a first conference room may be saved. The video conference meeting may then be migrated to a second conference room without having to restart the video conference. Client devices that have connected to the video conferencing system as well as client devices that have joined the video conference, the contents of the shared display, and other elements of the video conference are saved and restarted in the second conference room.
