Abstract: A method of creating a personalized targeted advertisement for displaying on a webpage of a website is disclosed. The personalized targeted advertisement includes features to provide direct communication between a sender and a recipient of the personalized targeted advertisement. A selection of an advertisement template from a plurality of advertisement templates is detected. Then, a media file and a custom message are received to build the personalized targeted advertisement. The personalized targeted advertisement is then sent to the recipient identified by a unique identification. The advertising server is notified so that the personalized targeted advertisement can be displayed when the recipient identified by the unique identification logs into the website.

Abstract: A system and method for providing real time financial product matching is disclosed. In one embodiment, the real time financial product matching system may store one or more financial product data records. Each financial product data record may be associated with a financial product. The real time financial product matching system may receive a customer data record associated with a customer, the customer data record including a customer preference related to financial products. The real time financial product matching system may then match the customer with one or more financial products in real time by comparing the customer data record to the one or more financial product data records. And, the real time financial product matching system may present the matched one or more financial products to the customer in real time.

Abstract: The provision of parametric D&O insurance and reinsurance policies is afforded by systems and methods for determining one or more parametric indices of the risk arising from aggregate litigation activity, which risk is correlated with the financial exposures (e.g., payment cash flows) of the insureds' exposed to such claims, and of the insurers who provide primary D&O insurance coverage. A parametric index is for a given policy is determined from a set of parameters that define the type, scope, timing of litigation activity for the index, as well as details how the index values are determined from the underlying litigation exposure. The system and method further determine whether payments are due under such a policy and their amounts.

Abstract: Index-linked notes with periodic coupons subject to a triggering event, and accompanying methods, are described herein. In some instances, exemplary notes allow a purchaser to purchase a note and receive periodic coupons returned on the note as long as a triggering event does not occur. Assuming that the triggering event does not occur, the purchaser may receive these coupons until the note reaches maturity. Payment of the periodic coupons may cease, however, when a triggering event (e.g., the purchaser's death) does occur. In addition, the amount of the periodic coupons are tied in some manner to a financial index, such as the Bloomberg index, the S&P 500, or the like.

Short sale volumes of shares are calculated for the security by summing a volume of shares associated with each short sale for each time unit during a time period. A graph is generated by plotting each short sale volume of shares associated with a time unit on a horizontal axis, plotting volume of shares on one vertical axis, and plotting a closing price for the security for each time unit on another vertical axis. A report that includes the graph is output via a user interface to an investor, prompting the investor to purchase security shares based on the graph depicting an increase in the short sale volume of shares and a corresponding decrease in the closing price.

A request is received from the client for the advertisement. The request includes the generated hostname. Example embodiments provide a Market Performance Indicator System (“MPIS”), which generates and provides indicators of market performance, based on obtained market information. In some embodiments, a performance indicator may include a directional indicator, such as an arrow or vector, indicating the value and/or change in value of one or more attributes of performance of an aspect of a financial market. Aspects of a financial market may include individual financial instruments, such as stocks and bonds, as well as aggregate information about a particular market, such as a market index. Attributes of performance may include price, volume of trading, and price variability. Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for trading and calculating the composition of foreign currencies indexed financial instruments. The compositions of the financial instruments are determined by calculating a geometric average of the exchange rates of foreign currencies with corresponding competitive weights. The competitive weights for each of the foreign currencies reflects competition between the goods of the United States and a country corresponding to the foreign currency in the markets of third countries.

Rules governing operation of the financial activity are stored for future reference. A participant provides investment information such as a map location for the predicted strike by the natural event and, optionally, one or more secondary parameters relating to the natural event, such as the time interval between the time of investment and the time of an event strike and/or the severity of the event strike according to an established scale. In one example, an external objective independent information source is consulted, with the external objective independent information source providing monitoring, interpretation and derived determination of parameters pertaining to the natural event. Upon determination of a match, the first server forwards a child order composed of at least a portion of one of the contra orders to the second server. At a fraction of a second later, the first server forwards the other of the contra orders to the second server followed by the remaining portion of the contra order.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for evaluating financial information, including systems and methods with computational/evaluation capability to process data sets comprising financial data. In one of the implementations, the systems and methods may be utilized for asset accounting. A calculation module may be provided that includes an evaluation engine that operates internally on a flat, generic data structure that is independent of the particular application. The externally-defined data structure of the data set may be mapped onto the internal data structure. Further, rules-based modules may provide information related to the client-defined rules. A user interface may enable a user to receive back the evaluated financial information, for a specified time period, the financial information being responsive to an original user request entered via the user interface. As a result, the evaluation engine can be used for a variety of different applications.

This real time identification of a problem allows corrections to quickly be made to prevent financial losses, fines, or other penalties.
