Abstract: A computer implemented method and apparatus for generating a contextual timeline of an online interaction such as a web conference acquires context, from the perspective of participants in the online interaction, along a timeline. Provided for display to a user is a graphical representation of variations, over at least a portion of the timeline, in participant engagement, attentiveness, attendance and/or some other measure of participant interactivity. Also provided for display to the user are one or more images aligned with one or more corresponding points in time along the timeline. The images provided for display in alignment with the timeline are representative of content presented to the at least one participant at one or more points in time. According to some embodiments, the points in time are user selectable, and the one or more images are provided for display in alignment with the timeline in response to user selections.

Abstract: In general, in one aspect the invention relates to a method and system for managing data. The method and system involves identifying for a first user at least one record of a plurality of records, generating a user interface which displays a data field associated with the at least one record in a grid format, receiving from a second user, subsequent to generating the first user interface, a first desired modification of the data field, receiving from the first user a second desired modification of the data field, triggering a conflict resolution process, wherein the conflict resolution process involves choosing a chosen modification from the first desired modification and the second desired modification, and saving the chosen modification in the data field.

Abstract: A user device may detect, using a first radio associated with the user device, a presence of a location reference device; and determine a location associated with the user device. When determining the location associated with the user device, the user device is to receive location information from the location reference device, via the first, and refrain, based on detecting the presence of the location reference device, from determining the location using a second radio associated with the user device while the user device is within a communication range of the location reference device.

Abstract: A jukebox for playing music and presenting video to a user includes a housing, a user interface display mounted to the housing, a controller mounted to the housing and being in communication with the user interface display and a video display mountable to the housing. The controller is mounted in a cavity defined by the housing. The video display is in communication with the controller. The controller, the user interface display and the video display are configured to facilitate the user's selection of a song from a plurality of songs stored in the controller and to selectively display a video associated with the selected song on the video display.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods, systems, and computer program products for generating user interface layouts. One computer-implemented method includes dividing an available vertical space associated with a graphical user interface into a plurality of allowed vertical space allocations based on a priority of a plurality of data display fields, calculating, by a computer, slack following each data display field expanding to fill an allowed vertical space allocation associated with the data display fields, allocating the slack among the plurality of data display fields, re-calculating, by a computer, slack following allocation of slack among the plurality of data display fields, and finalizing display of the plurality of data display elements in the graphical user interface.

Abstract: Methods for implementing an auto-complete feature for contact entry on mobile devices are described. In some embodiments, a mobile device downloads from a server a number of contacts associated with a user, wherein the number of contacts is a subset of contacts in a contact list of the user. Upon receiving a partial contact entry from the user that includes a string of one or more characters, the mobile device identifies contacts from the downloaded contacts matching the partial entry. The mobile device displays no more than a preset number of matching contacts on the display of the mobile device at any one time, in a particular order, with an option for the user to display and fetch for more matching contacts. Other embodiments are also described.

Abstract: Methods and devices for providing one or more control buttons in connection with a multiple screen device are provided. More particularly, the screen of a multiple screen device having a current focus is identified, and one or more control buttons are provided as part of or in association with the identified screen. When a change in focus from a previously identified screen to a different screen is detected, the presentation of the one or more control buttons can also change. In particular, control buttons are presented as part of a screen having the current focus, while control buttons are not provided on or in association with a screen that does not have the current focus.

Abstract: A user can access a searching component that allows the user to enter search terms to search for commands associated with a computer program. Some specific embodiments pertain to methods for supporting user access to the searching component, to methods for processing search terms submitted by the user, and to methods for guiding the user in terms of their formulation and selection queries. Methods for generating, organizing and manipulating the search results are also provided.

Abstract: A dynamic map-type graphic interface includes a number of user interface (UI) components. Each UI component is associated with one corresponding application program of the electronic device. The dynamic map-type graphic interface is a single-layer graphic interface made up of the UI components spliced together and around the center of the dynamic map-type graphic interface. The arrangement of the UI components is dynamically alterable according to operating times of the application program operated under a predetermined state parameter value within a predetermined time period.
