  • Patent number: 10909810
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a bonus game that is common to a bank of electronic gaming devices. One or more pools accrue with each wager placed. A player qualifies to play the bonus game when at least one tracked player or game criterion, such as wagers made, exceeds a threshold, triggers a mystery-jackpot counter, or is selected by a weighted pay table. The bonus game includes a video display of a wheel bouncing against a brick wall with bricks being exploded by coins. After an opening is formed in the wall and the wheel escapes, a wheel spin determines the bonus game outcome. More than one player may play the bonus game in sequence until the last player spins the wheel.

  • Patent number: 10898807
Abstract: A system and method relate to interleaved video game play associated with a web-based or device-resident program application selected via a client device. Upon execution of the program application, a game server is linked to the client, wherein a first set of executable iterations/portions of the original application are interleaved with a second set of iterations/portions comprising specified gameplay objects programmed to interact with dynamic text objects. At least for the second set, text strings are obtained in association with a first text source. The dynamically applied text objects are generated via a first set of rules associated at least with the selected application. Further based on the obtained text strings, the interleaved gameplay involves interacting with the gameplay objects via a second set of rules associated with the selected program application. The first text source may be an advertisement selected from campaigns associated with an ad server.

  • Patent number: 10846989
Abstract: An electronic gaming machine includes a display in the form of a matrix of rows and columns and a controller configured to conduct a game instance upon receiving a wager via a player input. In conducting each game instance, the controller activates a number of columns on the display based on the wager and controls a display to indicate which columns in the display have been activated. The controller determines if any of the activated columns meets a triggering condition and controls the display to display the activated columns which meet the triggering condition with a modified background. The controller then determines an outcome of the game instance based on whether a predetermined number of activated columns which meet the triggering condition are adjacent one another and makes an award to the player based on the outcome of the instance.
