A location for the receipt of the product or service is received. Vendor information of a vendor of the product or service proximate to the location is determined, with the vendor information including a price for the product or service, and a wait time to receive the product or service. The vendor information is then transmitted to the user.

Abstract: A system and method of performing a payment transaction in an augmented user experience displayed to a user of an augmented reality device. The system includes receiving a request for user authentication from a user, authenticating the user for performing payment transactions via a merchant application executed on the augmented reality device, receiving a request for payment to a merchant for an item offered for sale to the user in an augmented environment presented by the merchant application, processing payment in the payment amount between a payment account of the user and a merchant account, wherein the request for payment is performed without the user exiting the merchant application.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for identifying a relevant candidate product in an electronic marketplace. Embodiments perform a visual similarity comparison between candidate product image visual content and input query image visual content, process formal and informal natural language user inputs, and coordinate aggregated past user interactions with the marketplace stored in a knowledge graph. Visually similar items and their corresponding product categories, aspects, and aspect values can determine suggested candidate products without discernible delay during a multi-turn user dialog. The user can then refine the search for the most relevant items available for purchase by providing responses to machine-generated prompts that are based on the initial search results from visual, voice, and/or text inputs. An intelligent online personal assistant can thus guide a user to the most relevant candidate product more efficiently than existing search tools.

The desktop application automatically searches for the same product using the APIs of Walmart and/or Best Buy. If matches and near-matches of the product are found, the product name, model, price, and local availability at affiliate locations are shown. With a mobile phone camera-scan of the product page, relevant information is transferred to the consumer's phone. From there, the consumer can interact with the options on the mobile phone to be directed to the nearby brick and mortar store of choice carrying that product at the price they want. Along the way, the retailer can present offers and additional product information directly to the consumer.
