Abstract: A system and method for a restaurant-as-a-service system, comprising one or more database(s), a cluster manager, and a platform which provides restaurants automated, multiple-domain spanning, intelligent business predictions and optimizations leveraging modular, highly integrable microservices which perform various domain-specific functions and tasks to enhance restaurant operations and patron experience. The cluster manager may intercept data requests and algorithmically forward requests to the appropriate microservice operating on an available cluster of computing devices.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises receiving supplier invoice data comprising one or more supplier payment objects corresponding to a supplier to a customer of a supplier-customer transaction. A match determination is made between the supplier payment object and a verified payment object. In response to a no-match determination, a customer transaction system is queried to validate the supplier, and in response to the supplier validation, a validation payment object is created, validating the supplier. A match determination is made between the supplier payment object and the verified payment object, and the supplier invoice is automatically generated. In response to receiving subsequent supplier invoice data corresponding to the supplier of subsequent supplier-client transactions, for each subsequent supplier-client transaction, the subsequent supplier invoice is automatically generated with the verified payment object.

Abstract: A transaction processing system for performing one or more steps of a method is disclosed. The system may receive user receipt preferences including rules specifying whether or not a user wants a receipt. The system may also receive (i) a purchase authorization request associated with an attempted purchase and (ii) user device location data. The system may further set a receipt flag corresponding to the receipt status. If the system determines that the transaction is to be authorized, it attaches the receipt flag to the authorization message and transmits the authorization message to the merchant. Alternatively, if the system determines that the transaction is not to be authorized, it attaches the receipt flag to the cancellation message and transmits the cancellation message to the merchant.

Abstract: A system for communicating between equipment on a plurality of skids associated with a drill rig and a database server remote from the drill rig includes a data acquisition board on the drill rig. A plurality of sensors on the drill rig are configured to transmit data associated with the equipment on the plurality of skids to the data acquisition board. A processor in communication with the data acquisition board is configured to execute a first logic that causes the processor to receive the data from each sensor within a project area defined by a predetermined distance from an predefined reference point or a predetermined list, format said received data, and transfer the received data to the database server.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and processes to optimize peer to peer collaborative support in enterprise computing environments. A search request including a query directed to an organizational chart is received from a user computing device. The organizational chart includes knowledge profiles and peer to peer references associated with peer computing devices. A peer list including one or more peer computing devices is generated using a best-first search methodology and sent to the user computing device. One or more knowledge profiles and one or more peer references associated with one or more peer computing devices are updated.

Abstract: Tax balancing comprising receiving tax balancing requests from a number of clients and distributing each client tax balancing request among a number of nodes comprising a cluster. Nodes are added to the cluster according to processing needs of a client tax balancing request. A number of actors are created within each node for each employee of a client, wherein each actor performs a specified computational task related to tax balancing for the employee, and wherein actors are added to a node according to processing needs of a client tax balancing request, and processing load is balanced within the cluster by redistributing actors from nodes with the highest processing loads to nodes with the lowest processing loads. Employee tax balancing calculations are aggregated for each client, and tax balancing filing and payment data for each client are output to a database.

Abstract: A billing system based on radon concentration pattern analysis and a method therefor is provided, the system including a radon detection device counting the output alpha particle detection signals for a predetermined measurement time to calculate a radon concentration value; and a cloud server storing generating a radon concentration pattern corresponding to the radon detection device by using a radon concentration value received from the radon detection device and calculating a cost for radon monitoring service provided to a terminal of the user, wherein the cloud server analyzes the generated radon concentration pattern and determines the periodic behavior pattern of the user for a predetermined period of time, whereby it is possible to charge a radon monitoring service fee for each user using the radon monitoring service, and the user may be motivated to frequently perform the ventilation action that reduces the radon concentration.

Abstract: A system actuates a force mechanism to control a force applied to items on a shelf. An amount of force to be applied to items on a shelf can depend upon context data associated with a user. The user context data may be based on an analysis of sensor data, such as image data or proximity data. Once user context data has been determined, configuration data can be generated and transmitted to the force mechanism to apply the designated amount of force to the items on the shelf. One way to apply the designated amount of force to the items on the shelf is to lift one end of the shelf upwards to create an angle between the shelf and a horizontal surface, using a height adjustment mechanism and a hinge. The variation in the angle produces different levels of force on the items.

Abstract: Disclosed are exemplary embodiments of systems and methods for providing contactless payment at a point-of-sale (POS) terminal associated with a merchant, without local, direct communication of the POS terminal with a payment device. One exemplary method includes receiving a selection of a modified contactless payment option for a transaction at the POS terminal. In response, the POS terminal presents a detail for the transaction and receives a transaction setup message from a payment network. The transaction setup message includes a credential for a payment account associated with the consumer. An authorization request for the transaction is then generated, which includes the payment account credential, a merchant ID of the merchant, and an amount of the transaction. The POS terminal then transmits the authorization request to the payment network, via an acquirer associated with the merchant, thereby initiating the transaction without interacting locally and/or directly with the payment device.

Abstract: A payment terminal may include payment interfaces to receive payment information from payment devices such as chip cards and NFC payment devices. Monitoring components may monitor these payment interfaces. In addition, test requests may be transmitted to a payment device in order to elicit responses. The monitored information and the responses may be used by the payment terminal to determine whether a transaction is fraudulent or if a tamper attempt is ongoing, based on local test criteria. In addition, the monitored information and responses may be provided to a server, which may store the monitored information and responses, test for fraudulent transactions and tamper attempts based on server test criteria, and determine updates to the local test criteria.

An account assignment object may be created in a service order database corresponding to a main item and a plurality of subitems may be linked to the account assignment object, the main item representing the service bundle and the plurality of subitems offered collectively as the service bundle. The main item and subitems may be part of a hierarchy structure in which the main item is at a higher level than the subitems. A value of the main item may be set corresponding to a price of the service bundle. Follow-up processing may be automatically performed and a billing document may be generated for the service order using the account assignment object. Entries for each of the main item and the plurality of subitems for the order may be displayed in a hierarchical line item view.

Abstract: This invention relates to a natural resource and reserve management system, a corresponding method and a resultant natural asset inventory. The system has means for amalgamating and integrating data from disparate expert technical systems and applications, including computer developed or generated data, into at least one common, spatially-referenced database for use by at least one commercially available inventory management application, in order to provide integrated natural asset management in a natural resource inventory. The server determines a second risk score for the geographical location based on at least the one or more files or a second set of rules associated with the hazard. The server determines the second risk score when a criterion associated with the hazard is met. The server communicates at least one of the first risk score or the second risk score to a user.

The one or more processors are also configured to receive a statement including a designated chargeable usage of the vehicle, with the statement issued by an entity, and the one or more processors further configured to access one or more rules dictating rule-based chargeable usage of the vehicle. The one or more processors are configured to compare the event data with the one or more rules to determine the rule-based chargeable usage of the vehicle based on the event data and to compare the rule-based chargeable usage with the designated chargeable usage to identify one or more discrepancies between the rule-based chargeable usage and the designated chargeable usage.
