  • Patent number: 11556959
Abstract: A method for seamlessly and automatically granting tailored permission for use and transference of internet data between databases with comprehensive consent is described. The method employs a graph language such as JSON-LD to integrate and employ cryptographically signed Information Sharing Agreements (ISA) between parties. Data is serialized to be easily transferred between databases when appropriate permission is obtained. Granular data exchange under usage control contacts can be automated among any number of parties on the internet. As such, the method provides a means by which users may control not only what may be done with their data, but to what entity or entities the data may be transferred. Advertisements may then be served to the user according to his or her preferences as defined within a web or desktop app, which is then applied to all related ad publishers publishing to the domains visited by the user.

  • Patent number: 11544753
Abstract: This disclosure relates to forecasting when and whether an invoice is to be paid and indicating such forecasts to a user. An example system is configured to perform operations including determining, by a classification model, a first confidence as to whether an invoice is to be paid, determining, by a regression model associated with the classification model, a first time associated with a second confidence as to when the invoice is likely to be paid, and indicating, to a user, whether the invoice is to be paid based on the first confidence and the first time when the invoice is likely to be paid based on the second confidence. The regression model may include one or more gradient boosted trees to determine the first time. Different times associated with different confidences can be determined by different gradient boosted trees, with the specific tree corresponding to the associated confidence.

  • Patent number: 11544252
Abstract: A set of transaction handling computing elements comprise a network core that receive and process transaction requests into an append-only immutable chain of data blocks, wherein a data block is a collection of transactions, and wherein an Unspent Transaction Output (UTXO) data structure supporting the immutable chain of data blocks is an output from a finalized transaction. Typically, the UTXO data structure consists essentially of an address and a value. In this approach, at least one UTXO data structure is configured to include information either in addition to or in lieu of the address and value, thereby defining a Transaction Output (TXO). A TXO may have a variety of types, and one type includes an attribute that encodes data. In response to receipt of a request to process a transaction, the set of transaction handling computing elements are executed to process the transaction into a block using at least the information in the TXO.

  • Patent number: 11526893
Abstract: A system and method for generating a notification of a price change for a transaction and facilitating an associated price adjustment based on electronic image capture of a paper receipt. An image capture system captures an electronic image of a paper transaction receipt, which is transmitted to a data extraction processor that extracts transaction receipt data from the captured electronic image. A unique key is generated by an authentication server that is matched to a transaction record to generate a reliability score for the OCRed image and to authorize price matching. If the price monitoring server identifies that the price of a purchased transaction item has changed, the price monitoring server automatically generates a notification to the user indicating the price change and an email to the customer service department of the merchant from which the transaction item was purchased, requesting a price adjustment that is credited back to the payment instrument.
