Abstract: A method for presenting pre-approved and pre-underwritten offers to a customer may include: receiving targeting criteria based on at least one of current accounts with the financial institution, assets, creditworthiness, and credit risk for an offer for a financial product; identifying a target population of customers for the offer by applying the targeting criteria to a population of customers; reviewing each customer in the target population for underwriting for the financial product based on inferred income for each customer and accounts that each customer has with the financial institution, wherein the underwriting is performed before the financial product is offered; determining a channel to present the offer to one of the customers that passed underwriting; communicating the offer to the customer over the selected channel; and providing an accepted offer to a fulfilment engine, wherein the fulfilment engine initiates an account opening for the financial product.

Abstract: Embodiments provide an alert management and real-time remediation system. The system receives an electronic file that includes an overdraft allowance information data structure comprising overdraft allowance information and automatically parses the overdraft allowance information into overdraft allowance events for the associated customers. The system sends overdraft allowance notification messages to the associated customers. The message includes a link to an authentication interface of an institution associated with the customer. After the customer is authenticated, the system provides a user interface that displays overdraft allowance information for each overdraft allowance event associated with the customer and a display element for a payment option. Responsive to the customer selecting the payment option, the system sends a payment message that causes a transfer of a payment to the institution.

Abstract: The present teachings a method including: receiving a beacon signal, from a beacon signal provider when a user mobile device is within a range of the beacon signal provider; generating a first notification to transmit from the user mobile device to one or more contact mobile devices based on an associated protocol; transmitting the first notification to the one or more contact mobile devices; and receiving a shopping request from the one or more contact mobile devices; wherein communication between the user and the one or more contacts is automatically facilitated so that the user is relieved of establishing and maintaining communication with one or more contacts; and wherein communication with the one or more contacts by the first notification is undertaken substantially instantaneously upon receiving the beacon signal.

Abstract: Decentralized machine learning to build models is performed at nodes where local training datasets are generated. A blockchain platform may be used to coordinate decentralized machine learning over a series of iterations. For each iteration, a distributed ledger may be used to coordinate the nodes. Rules in the form of smart contracts may enforce node participation in an iteration of model building and parameter sharing, as well as provide logic for electing a node that serves as a master node for the iteration. The master node obtains model parameters from the nodes and generates final parameters based on the obtained parameters. The master node may write its state to the distributed ledger indicating that the final parameters are available. Each node, via its copy of the distributed ledger, may discover the master node's state and obtain and apply the final parameters to its local model, thereby learning from other nodes.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatic consideration of jurisdiction in loan related actions are disclosed. An example system may include a data collection circuit to determine location information corresponding to each entity involved in a loan; a jurisdiction definition circuit to determine a jurisdiction for at least one of the entities in response to the location information; and a smart contract circuit to automatically undertake a loan-related action for the loan based at least in part on the jurisdiction for at least one of the entities.

Abstract: A technique for improving the security of a portable consumer device may include storing a first account identifier and a second account identifier associated with the first account identifier, the second account identifier and the first account identifier being associated with the same account on the portable consumer device. When the portable consumer device is interacting with a reader device to conduct a transaction, the portable consumer device may determine whether the transaction is a proximity transaction by sensing whether a wireless interrogation signal is being transmitted from the reader device, and determine which of the first account identifier and the second account identifier to provide to the reader device based on whether the transaction is a proximity transaction.

Abstract: An example method includes identifying, using a browser extension, content of a first webpage of a first website being displayed using a browser. The identifying of the content includes determining a product related to the content of the first webpage and determining that the product has been added to an electronic shopping cart. The method further includes determining a merchant that offers the product for sale and determining, based on a user account associated with the browser extension, a customer reward offered by the merchant and available to the user account. The method further includes determining that the browser has navigated away from the first webpage to a second webpage of a second website. The method further includes modifying the browser to display a graphical user interface element including information about the customer reward and a link configured to navigate the browser back to the first website.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for end-to-end fuzzy entity matching are described herein. A first input and a second input may be received. The first input and the second input may be evaluated to identify common attribute types. A set of attribute entity matching models may be selected that correspond to the attribute types. The first input and the second input may be evaluated using the set of attribute entity matching models to determine a set of weighted scores for attribute pairs in the first input and the second input. The set of weighted scores may be evaluated using a table-level entity matching model to identify a common entity included in the first input and the second input. A linking dataset may be generated that includes a cross-linking facility indicating a relationship between a first entity descriptor in the first input and a second entity descriptor in the second input.

Abstract: A method for seamlessly and automatically granting tailored permission for use and transference of internet data between databases with comprehensive consent is described. The method employs a graph language such as JSON-LD to integrate and employ cryptographically signed Information Sharing Agreements (ISA) between parties. Data is serialized to be easily transferred between databases when appropriate permission is obtained. Granular data exchange under usage control contacts can be automated among any number of parties on the internet. As such, the method provides a means by which users may control not only what may be done with their data, but to what entity or entities the data may be transferred. Advertisements may then be served to the user according to his or her preferences as defined within a web or desktop app, which is then applied to all related ad publishers publishing to the domains visited by the user.

Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, and computer readable storage media are described and disclosed. An example method includes depicting a strategy node in a graphical user interface presented by a computing device. The strategy node represents a trading strategy associated with two or more tradeable objects. The example method includes generating a graphical connector between the strategy node and one of a plurality of contract nodes including at least a first contract node and a second contract node. Each contract node represents a contract associated with one of the tradeable objects. The example method includes repositioning, in response to an input received via the graphical interface, an endpoint of the graphical connector from the first contract node specified by the trading strategy to the second contract node. The example method also includes generating an updated trading strategy based on the trading strategy and the second contract node.
