  • Patent number: 9471862
Abstract: Briefly, an intelligent label is associated with a good, and includes one or more permanent and irreversible electrochromic indicators that are used to report the condition of that good at selected points in the movement or usage of that good. These electrochromic indicators provide immediate visual information regarding the status of the good without need to interrogate or communicate with the electronics or processor on the intelligent label. In this way, anyone in the shipping or use chain for the good, including the end user consumer, can quickly understand whether the product is meeting shipping and quality standards. If a product fails to meet shipping or quality standards, the particular point where the product failed can be quickly and easily identified, and information can be used to assure the consumer remains safe, while providing essential information for improving the shipping process.

  • Patent number: 9459022
Abstract: Described herein is a heating system where air is drawn into a system where hot gas is injected into it. The air is then discharged at a regulated temperature into an environment through ductwork to heat environments to elevated temperatures and employing functional modules to further condition the air to humidify, dehumidify, decontaminate with airborne free-radicals, and filtrate in both stationary and portable applications. The system is useful to eradicate pests, disease germs, bacteria, viruses, and mold. The system is also useful in water remediation and comfort heating. The system can be configured to create a parallel path to both heat and dehumidify the airflow blended and discharged at the operator-chosen set-point temperatures.

  • Patent number: 9392781
Abstract: An apparatus with a submersed unit, an air pump, a switching-mode power supply, a power transmission cable, a multi-position selector switch, and an air hose is used to aerate and also heat a quantity of water that holds live bait used for fishing. The switching-mode power supply and the air pump are enclosed within a head unit housing which is plugged into a power source. The water containing the live bait is aerated through an aeration stone connected to the air pump through the air hose. When the water needs to be heated a temperature sensitive heating element heats the water. The supplied conditions are controlled by the multi-position selector switch. The temperature sensitive heating element is powered through the power transmission cable and contains a thermistor and a resistive wire. More specifically, when the thermistor detects a drop in temperature, the resistive wire converts electricity into heat.
