Abstract: Simulated tissue structures and methods of making them are disclosed. An elastic first material is placed in tension. An elastic second material is adhered to the first material while the first material is in tension. The adhered second material and the first material in tension forms a first shape of the simulated tissue structure. Tension on the first material is released. In releasing the tension of the first material, a force is exerted on the adhered second material bring the combination of the first material and the second material into a second shape. The first shape is maintained by a mold or mandrel and the second shape is the desired shape of the simulated tissue structure.
Abstract: A method of determining a potentially visible set (PVS) includes: dividing a map area into a plurality of detection point areas, the map area corresponding to a movable range of a virtual object in a virtual environment; replacing a map material of a three-dimensional (3D) object in a detection point area with a single-colored material, color identifiers of single-colored materials corresponding to all of 3D objects included in the virtual environment being different; determining at least one detection point in the detection point area; performing rendering to obtain a cubemap corresponding to the at least one detection point, and determining a target color identifier of a single color appearing on the cubemap; and adding a 3D object corresponding to the target color identifier to a PVS of the detection point area.

Abstract: A method for optimizing a computer-implemented game for a target metric is disclosed. Based on a detecting that an optimization point has been reached during a runtime of the computer game, user data, game state data, and personalized gaming experience (PGE) question data is communicated to a PGE server. The PGE question data is linked to the optimization point. An answer corresponding to the PGE question data is received from the PGE server. The answer is selected from a plurality of answers linked to the optimization point based on an application of a machine-learned model to the user data, game state data, and PGE question data. The received answer is implemented within the computer-implemented game.

Abstract: A local electronic gaming device may include a display system, an interface system and a control system that includes one or more processors. The control system may cause the display system to present visual effects corresponding to a metamorphic image, which may correspond to an award. The visual effects may include changes to the metamorphic image in response to local game event data corresponding to one or more games presented on the local gaming device and in response to networked gaming device game event data corresponding to one or more games presented on one or more other gaming devices.

Abstract: Provided are a program, a control method, and an information processing apparatus which may provide an improved user interface on which a user may easily and efficiently execute various processes on a game content. The information processing apparatus may be caused to execute a game content specifying step of specifying a selected game content on the basis of first input operation data from an operation unit, a step of retrieving information from a storage unit, a step of specifying a direction from a start point to an end point of a second input operation on the basis of second input operation data from an operation unit, and an execution step of executing one process associated with the direction from the start point to the end point of the second input operation in the information from the storage unit on the selected game content.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method including providing a wager-based electronic gaming device (EGD), the EGD having at least one processor, memory, a display, an input interface, the method including: establishing an account balance using the received money; displaying a game environment of a wager-based game comprising a plurality of stages; enabling, for the gaming session, game play and wagers in a current stage of the plurality of stages of the wager-based game; determining game play such that when the game play is less quick than the predetermined pace, changing at least one of a Return-To-Player (RTP) of the wager-based game and a bonus for the current stage; and when the game play is quicker than the predetermined pace, maintaining unchanged or increasing at least one of the Return-To-Player (RTP) of the wager-based game and the bonus for the current stage.
Abstract: Methods and systems for assigning a data center in a second geo location for migrating data in anticipation of receiving a request from a user account from the second geo location includes receiving an indication of a change in geo location of a user from a first geo location to the second geo location. Save data for the user is identified at the first geo location. The save data is analyzed to determine usage trend of the user for the plurality of games. A portion of the save data is identified, based on the usage trend, and transmitted to a second data center in the second geo location in anticipation of the user's likely access of the save data at the second geo location. The save data is made available to game logic of one or more games, when executed on a cloud gaming system, so as to provide current state of game play of the respective one or more games for rendering on a client device of the user used to access the game.
Abstract: A system for wagering on outcomes of a live sporting event. The system further includes using AI to balance itself between how much it will lose bets to encourage game players to bet more, ultimately to win more profit and gain a larger game player user base. This allows the system to reduce immediate profits in exchange for long term profits due to a larger market share.

Abstract: A location-based parallel reality game may use regions to determine how to disperse virtual elements, locate virtual experiences, and/or define game objectives. To determine the regions of the geographic area, a server divides the geographic region into cells. The server assigns real-world data to each of the cells and constructs a graph of nodes and edges based on the cells. Each node corresponds to a cell, and each edge connects nodes that correspond to adjacent cells. The server partitions the graph into contiguous segments based on the real-world data. The server defines regions of the geographic area based on the contiguous segments and stores the defined regions in a data store. The server may hierarchically partition the regions into higher order regions until each region meets a set of criteria.
Abstract: This document relates to techniques for addressing disruptions that prevent applications from receiving user input, prevent users from providing input to an application, and/or prevents or impacts users from receiving application output. One example method involves detecting a disruption to an interactive application during interaction by a user with the interactive application, generating automated user inputs, and providing the automated user inputs to the interactive application during the disruption to the interactive application.
