Abstract: A movable display apparatus, a robot having the movable display apparatus, and a display method thereof, and, more particularly, a display method of a robot having an apparatus to display an image according to a visual point of a user are provided. It is possible to provide a convenient extended image service, by movably mounting the apparatus to display the image according to the visual point of the user and mounting the movable display apparatus in the robot so as to accurately display the image according to the visual point of the user using the mobility and motion of the robot. In addition, it is possible to provide an image, which is viewed like a three-dimensional image, via a two-dimensional display apparatus, by changing the displayed image according to a variation in the sightline of the user.

Abstract: A tool-tip presentation system for multimedia files. The tool-tip presentation system can be configured to respond to proximity events associated with a selected entry in a list of multimedia files such as screen captured images or complete audio files. Based upon the selected entry, a corresponding multimedia sample such as a thumbnail image of a screen captured image or an audio sample of the audio file can be retrieved and presented as a tool-tip. In particular, the tool-tip can be displayed in a position which is proximate to the selected entry. In this way, one who interacts with the list of multimedia files need not load each complete multimedia file in the list in order to determine the contents of the multimedia file. Rather, the multimedia sample in the tool-tip can suffice.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable medium comprises displaying a panel associated with at least one script, presenting a branching logic associated with the panel and creating a graphical map of the panel and the branching logic where the graphical map allows zooming in to show panel logic associated with the panel, and the graphical map allows zooming out to show the branching logic associated with the panel.

Abstract: The display computer displays a management screen having a first area and a second area. In the first area, information related to a computer system, and an input object for a work operation that is a user operation for registering a task of a processing to a computer system into a management computer or an object for displaying the input object are displayed. In the second area, a summary view related to at least one task registered into the management computer is displayed. The summary view has a status object for each status of task, the status object includes an object indicating a status and a value indicating a number of tasks of the status. When the management computer detects a modification of a status of each task that has been registered, the display computer updates a value of a number of tasks in the second area.

Abstract: A mobile terminal capable of sensing a touch input, and a control method thereof are provided. The mobile terminal includes: a display unit configured to display screen information; a sensing unit configured to sense a touch input applied to the display unit; and a controller configured to display an indicator bar including at least one icon together with the screen information, and select any one of icons displayed in the indicator bar.

Abstract: A pointing method uses eye-gaze as an implicit control channel. A user looks in a natural fashion at a target object as a button on a graphical user interface and then presses a manual selection key. Once the selection key is pressed, the present method uses probability analysis to determine a most probable target object and to highlight it. If the highlighted object is the target object, the user can select it by pressing a key such as the selection key once again. If the highlighted object is not the target object, the user can select another target object using additional keys to navigate to the intended target object.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to semantically navigating a data collection and to providing custom data mappings for a semantic group of data items. In one scenario, a computer system displays various data items of a data collection on a data presentation interface of a software application user interface. The user interface receives a first user input indicating that a semantic interface is to be displayed in the software application user interface, and displays the semantic interface which includes semantic headers that identify groups of data items. The user interface then receives a second user input that selects at least one of the semantic headers to display its corresponding group of data items and navigates the data presentation interface to the group of data items corresponding to the selected semantic header.

Abstract: Systems and methods perform comparison of data represented as charts, for example, bar graphs, pie charts, line charts or stacked bar charts. The charts present visual representations mapping source values to target values. A user can select charts associated with a data records for comparison from an index of data records. The user selects a chart and a particular source value from the reference chart. The target values corresponding to the source value from other charts are compared against the target value from the reference chart. An aggregate of the target values associated with the source value from each chart may be presented to the user. The user can also use multi-touch input to select object representing data and drag them to perform actions associated with the objects. The actions performed on the objects depend on the locations of the objects as the user drags them.

Abstract: Techniques are described for providing visualizations of data with options for a user to manipulate the data visualizations. These data visualization options may provide flexible and rapid comparison of different fragments of data. In one example, a method includes outputting a display of a data visualization in a graphical user interface. The method further includes receiving a first user input selecting a first fragment of the data visualization to freeze. The method further includes receiving a second user input selecting a second fragment of the data visualization to reposition to a new position relative to the frozen fragment of the data visualization. The method further includes outputting a revised display of the data visualization in the graphical user interface that displays the repositioned fragment of the data visualization in the new position relative to the frozen fragment of the data visualization.

Abstract: A system and method include obtaining a landscape description document identifying resource elements and their connections in a computing infrastructure. The resource elements are converted into landscape user interface graphical representations of the elements. An interconnected landscape interface is generated using the graphical representations and connection information from the landscape description document.

Abstract: A hierarchical grid (H-Grid) is used to select a customer name after preliminary navigation has been performed. The preliminary navigation serves to identify an action, category or type of page to process or display data associated with the selected customer name. The H-Grid can be used in various ways as a replacement for, enhancement or addition to, key or query-based searching to retrieve a page or perform an action. In a particular example, the H-Grid includes customer names that have data available for display according to a form associated with a selected action or category. When the user clicks a customer name in the H-Grid a current form is populated with the customer's data. Subsequent navigation to other pages of data are populated with the currently selected customer name. This approach can replace the requirement of having the user to perform a search or query to identify the customer name or record.

Abstract: A Java applet program loaded initially from a remote server is configured to receive additional user annotations for data displayed in an already opened applet window located at the user's client system. The user is permitted to preserve/capture, the modified applet window containing any such input or modifications to the applet window data. The updated applet window data cannot be written to the user's client system, instead, the modified window data is converted to a standard compressed graphics file format and then uploaded to the remote server. From there the applet can then open another applet window within a browser program pointing to the location of such file on the remote server. At that point, the user can then perform any desired operation on the file since the browser has access to the local system resources.

From the set of contacts, a first subset is selected based on first predefined criteria and a second subset is selected from second predefined criteria. The first and second predefined criteria may include contact interaction criteria, user activity criteria, and connectedness criteria. From the first and second subsets, one or more lists of contacts are generated. The one or more lists may be displayed in a display region of an instant messaging application.

The software application executed by the processor of the telecommunications device also generates a contact display including at least one contact group associated with the subset of contacts based on a current context of a user of the telecommunications device.
