Abstract: A computing device may store a notification selection application executable by a processor of the computing device to provide operations including providing a user interface of a computing device including a notification selection control configured to receive user selection of a notification mode from a normal mode in which device notifications are enabled, a silent mode in which device notifications are disabled, and a timer mode in which device notifications are temporarily disabled until expiration of a countdown timer; receiving a gesture to select the timer mode from the notification selection control; starting the countdown timer based on receiving the gesture to select the timer mode; and automatically transitioning the computing device from the timer mode to the normal mode upon expiration of the countdown timer.

Abstract: Configurations for providing a widget that displays participants involved in the conversation thread and provides different graphical elements (e.g., buttons) to initiate one click actions to start a group chat, create a meeting on each participant's calendar, or start a new conversation thread. In the case of the group chat, the subject technology can include the contents of the group chat session as an additional electronic message in the conversation thread. In one example, the widget is implemented as a floating toolbar that can be positioned in the user interface while in the conversation thread view.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and article of manufacture provide access to architectural documents in a network based on-line web based system. Servers that are accessible from the Internet maintain persistent multiple architectural documents of different media types. An online user is provided, from the servers via the Internet, a set of basic virtual design tools that have persistent properties and may be copied. The virtual design tools may also be utilized to work with the architectural documents. A workspace is also provided for viewing, accessing, and modifying the architectural documents.

Abstract: In systems that enable collaboration, techniques are provided for communicating and displaying positional information with respect to these systems so as to enhance the collaborative experience. The systems may include interactive whiteboard (IWB) systems participating in a collaborative session. The position of an object (e.g., a user) at a first IWB system may be tracked and displayed at a second IWB system located remotely from the first IWB system.

Abstract: A mobile terminal including a wireless communication unit configured to wirelessly communicate with at least one other terminal; an input unit configured to enter an application indicator edit mode for editing application indicators providing information on corresponding applications; a display configured to display a first display region including a plurality of settable application indicators and a second display region including a guide screen indicating at least one of a display location and a display size of the settable application indicators on the guide screen when entering the edit mode; and a controller configured to receive a selection signal indicating a selection of a specific application indicator among the plurality of settable application indicators included in the first display region, and to determine whether the specific application indicator can be set on the guide screen included in the second display region.

Abstract: A user interface for a mobile device allows a user of a social networking service to conveniently view information of a related user and media items associated with the related user. The user interface enables the user to select a view of a related user by providing first user inputs. Each view has a defined section that displays media items associated with the selected user. The displayed media items in the defined section can be varied in response to receiving second user inputs. The user can select a media item in the defined section for further view or other actions.

Abstract: An exemplary method includes a media content presentation system receiving a plurality of timestamped and geotagged media content instances generated during a live event by a plurality of attendees of the live event, detecting input provided by a user specifying a time period associated with the live event and input provided by the user specifying a viewing area within a venue associated with the live event, identifying one or more media content instances that have a timestamp included within the specified time period and a geotagged location within the specified viewing area, and presenting the identified one or more media content instances to the user within a graphical user interface in a manner that is temporally synchronized with an event timeline associated with the live event. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for editing media objects in a capture device having a display is provided. The method displays a representation of each media object, where each media object has a plurality of media types associated therewith. The plurality of media types includes at least two of a still image, a sequential image, and a video clip. The method enables selection of a media object to edit and invokes a plurality of edit screens for editing the plurality of media types. In each one of the plurality of edit screens, a representation of the media object's content and items to be applied to the media object are displayed. Each one of the plurality of the edit screens invokes soft keys to ease use and operation of the capture device and facilitate creation of multimedia presentations on the capture device.

Abstract: An interactive input system, method and computer readable medium for handling objects representing annotations on an interactive input system are disclosed. The method includes creating an annotation on the interactive input system, associating the annotation with a temporary grouping region, and in the event that a threshold amount of time passes before a further annotation is created within a threshold distance of the temporary grouping region, disabling the temporary grouping region to thereafter prevent automatic grouping with the annotation of any further annotation.

Abstract: In one example, a method includes outputting for display a first graphical user interface (GUI) of an application executing at the portable computer terminal, wherein the first GUI displays information received from the mobile computing device at a first degree of specificity. The method also includes, in response to receiving input to display a second GUI of the application: outputting, for display at a presence-sensitive display device of the portable computer terminal, the second GUI and removing the first GUI from display. The second GUI may be different from the first GUI, and the second GUI may display information received from the mobile computing device at a second degree of specificity that is different than the first degree of specificity.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving information from a user in a collaboration network, the information including a unit of content, a title, an indication of one or more entities in the collaboration network allowed to access the unit of content, and for each of the entities in the collaboration network allowed to access the unit of content, an indication of a permission level with respect to the access. The permission level includes view, comment, edit, or share. The method further includes determining a format for presentation of the unit of content based at least in part on the permission levels indicated for the one or more entities in the collaboration network allowed to access the unit of content, and publishing the unit of content and the title for the unit of content to the collaboration network in the determined format and according to the information.
