Abstract: A method for at least partly automated driving of a motor vehicle includes receiving environment signals that represent an environment of the motor vehicle, processing the environment signals to detect a dynamic object in the environment, and predicting a movement of the detected dynamic object based on infrastructure data that represent an infrastructure of the environment. The method further includes generating control signals for at least partly automated control of the lateral and longitudinal guidance of the motor vehicle based on the predicted movement, and outputting the generated control signals to drive the motor vehicle at least partly automatically based on the predicted movement.

Abstract: An apparatus comprises a processor and a machine-readable storage medium storing machine-readable instructions executable by the processor. The machine-readable instructions comprise instructions to cause the processor to create 3D print data including data defining one or more objects to be printed in a build chamber of a 3D printer and data defining, in addition to the one or more objects, a shield to be printed to shield the one or more printed objects in the build chamber to reduce heat dissipation to an outside of the build chamber. The shield is designed depending on a thermal behavior of the build chamber and/or depending on a thermal behavior of the one or more objects to be printed.

Abstract: A green tyre (2) for bicycles is built, comprising at least one carcass ply (4) having axially opposite end flaps (4a) engaged with respective bead cores (5) and a tread band (6) applied in a radially outer position around said at least one carcass ply (4). Abstract: In one aspect of the present disclosure, a wheel hub assembly is provided that includes a hub body having an outboard end portion and an inboard end portion, a bearing assembly, and a seal. The seal includes a seal case and a sleeve. The hub body and seal case are rotatable relative to the sleeve. The wheel hub assembly further includes a stop of the bearing assembly configured to resist movement of the sleeve toward the outboard end portion of the hub body as the hub body, bearing assembly, and sleeve are advanced together in an inboard direction along a vehicle spindle. The stop permits the bearing assembly to transfer a force applied in an inboard axial direction against the bearing assembly, such as by tightening of a spindle nut, to the sleeve and urge the sleeve along a vehicle spindle.

Abstract: The synthesis and characterization of a platinum (II) terpyridine system tethered with a latent organic dye of rhodamine derivative as colorimetric and fluorescent sensory moiety has been reported to show selective Hg2+ ion sensing behavior. The interplay of aggregation/de-aggregation behavior of the alkynylplatinum(II) terpyridine complex and the ring-opening process of rhodamine derivative has been investigated. The spectral change of aggregation NIR emission at 800 nm and rhodamine fluorescence at 585 nm provides a possible ratiometric luminescence measurement. Morphological studies from TEM and SEM images showing nanospherical structures confirmed the aggregation in the absence of Hg2+ ion.

Abstract: A material applicator for controlling application of at least one material on a substrate includes a housing and an array plate with an applicator array positioned within the housing. The applicator array has a plurality of micro-applicators and each of the plurality of micro-applicators has an ultrasonic transducer, a material inlet, a reservoir, and a micro-applicator plate with a plurality of apertures. The applicator plate is in mechanical communication with the ultrasonic transducer such that at least one material is ejected through the plurality of apertures as atomized droplets when the ultrasonic transducer vibrates the micro-applicator plate.

Abstract: A multi-threat security apparatus system for critical infrastructure protection is disclosed having an above-ground concrete base, a vertical post system adapted to be attached to the above-ground concrete base and to receive a plurality of louvers. The plurality of louvers provides the necessary ballistic protection for and air flow through to the critical infrastructure. The louvers may include a composite of aluminum foam, a resin impregnated ballistic material and an aluminum foam. The composite structure may be used on doors, panels or building walls.
Abstract: Provided herein are systems, methods, and compositions for the modification of target DNA sequences. More particularly, systems, methods, and compositions for editing genomic DNA in eukaryotic cells with a CRISPR-associated transposase are provided. Also provided are vectors and vector systems which encode one or more CRISPR-associated transposases, as well as methods for the design and use of such vectors. Also provided are methods for identifying and validating novel CRISPR-associated transposases.
Abstract: Methods and systems for seamless adjustment of treatment are disclosed. A determination can be made as to whether to intervene with a patient's treatment based on data obtained from implantable electrodes and/or non-implantable electrodes. The data from non-implantable electrodes have a correction factor applied to adjust for less accuracy compared to data acquired from implantable electrodes.
