Abstract: The present invention provides a flowmeter for determining a fluid flow rate through an associated valve assembly, the flowmeter comprising a housing; a sensor arrangement disposed in the housing, the sensor arrangement comprising at least one sensor configured to detect a quantity indicative of the fluid flow rate through the valve assembly; and an coupling portion provided at the housing and configured to engage with an associated counter-coupling portion of the valve assembly for selectively attaching the flowmeter to the valve assembly in an orientation selectable from a group comprising at least a first orientation and a second orientation. The present invention also provides a valve assembly having a counter-coupling portion configured to receive an associated coupling portion of the flowmeter for selectively attaching the flowmeter to the valve assembly in any one of at least a first orientation and a second orientation.

Abstract: A device for measuring the temperature in the interior of a vehicle is provided. The device includes an interior temperature sensor arranged at and/or in a plug-in end of a plug-in housing. The interior temperature sensor projects beyond the plug-in end of the plug-in housing. The plug-in housing is biased away from a cover element for assuming a defined plug-in position of the plug-in housing when the plug-in end of the plug-in housing is plugged into a receiving space of the latter and the interior temperature sensor is arranged in the through-going opening of the cover element.
Abstract: An induction heating tool that holds voltage or current supplied to the induction tank circuit constant and tracks changes in the other of voltage or current during each induction heating cycle. The disclosed induction heating tool exploits the fact that the resistance an attachment plate increases along with the temperature of the attachment plate. During an induction heating cycle, the attachment plate is magnetically coupled to a work coil and the resistance of the attachment plate is reflected to the circuit. Changes in the resistance of the attachment plate alter the pattern of energy delivery from the work coil to the attachment plate in a predictable way. Calculations accurately predict the temperature of the attachment plate over a wide variety of ambient conditions, including the presence of moisture at the membrane/attachment plate interface. The disclosed induction heating tool produces consistent results without calibration for ambient conditions.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a rainbow projection lamp, which includes a light-permeable plate, at least one hybrid/monochromatic light source and a circuit board; wherein, at least one arc-shaped through-hole is arranged on the light-permeable plate, and the light source is arranged at one side of the arc-shaped through-hole; and, the light source is electrically connected with the circuit board, and a light emitted by the light source passes through the arc-shaped through-hole and then transmits a rainbow projection. In the present disclosure, since wavelengths of different lights are different, and the lights will be diffracted when they pass through a slit, the positions of the diffracted lights will be different when the lights pass through the arc-shaped through-hole of the light-permeable plate according to the present disclosure.
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for processing and executing queries in a data intake and query system. The data intake and query system receives raw machine data at an indexing system, and stores at least a portion of the raw machine data in buckets using containerized indexing nodes instantiated in a containerized environment. The data intake and query system stores the buckets in a shared storage system.

Abstract: A steering column may include a casing tube in which a steering spindle is rotatably mounted, a guide unit that receives the casing unit so as to be telescopically adjustable in a direction of a longitudinal axis, and an electromotor adjustment drive that is arranged between the casing tube and the guide unit. An inner bearing face of the guide unit surrounds an outer casing surface of the casing tube and includes a slot extending longitudinally with a slot width between mutually opposing slot edges. A preload device engages the slot edges and is configured to apply a tightening force to reduce the slot width to preload the bearing face together with the casing surface. A clamping body cooperates with the slot edges via a deflection device that converts a reduction of slot width into a radial clamping movement of the clamping body for radial preloading the outer casing surface.

Abstract: A method for processing a wafer includes subjecting the wafer to a reduction treatment with heat and a reducing agent that has a melting point of lower than 600° C. The wafer is made of a material selected from the group consisting of lithium tantalate, lithium niobate, and a combination thereof. The wafer and the reducing agent are spaced apart from each other so that the reducing agent indirectly interacts with the wafer during the reduction treatment. Also disclosed is a processed wafer obtained by the method.

Abstract: A pulper for circulating a fibrous stock suspension. The pulper includes at least one screen, having a screen surface which is provided with screen openings, and over which a rotor passes. Abstract: An HVACR fan and heater assembly accounts for the cyclonic flow produced by centrifugal blowers by placing a heater vertically and biased towards a side of a fan cabinet in order to increase and balance airflow through the heater, eliminating hot spots and fire risk and improving heater efficiency. A blockoff in the fan cabinet forces airflow within the cabinet to move through the heater. The positioning of the heater may vary depending on the direction of rotation of the centrifugal blower. The fan and heater assembly may further include baffles to direct the airflow from the centrifugal blower.

Abstract: Systems and methods for sampling a set of block IDs to facilitate estimating an amount of data stored in a data set of a storage system having one or more characteristics are provided. According to an example, metadata (e.g., block headers and block IDs) may be maintained regarding multiple data blocks of the data set. When one or more metrics relating to the data set are desired, an efficiency set, representing a subset of the block IDs of the data set, may be created to facilitate efficient calculation of the metrics by sampling the block IDs of the data set. Finally, the metrics may be estimated based on the efficiency set by analyzing one or more of the metadata (e.g., block headers) and the data contained in the data blocks corresponding to the subset of the block IDs and extrapolating the metrics for the entirety of the data set.
Abstract: A method of forming a hot stamped coated steel product includes providing a precoated steel strip, the precoated steel strip including a base steel having a first side and a second side, and a precoating on at least one of the first side and the second side, the precoating being made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy; heating the precoated steel strip in a furnace, wherein the precoated strip experiences a temperature rise at a heating rate (Vc) between 4° and 12° C./s, wherein Vc is a mean heating rate between 20 and 700 C; removing the heated precoated steel strip from the furnace; and then hot stamping the precoated strip to deform the precoated steel strip into a hot stamped coated steel product, the hot stamped coated steel product having a coating including, proceeding from the base steel outwards: (a) an interdiffusion layer, (b) an intermediate layer, (c) an intermetallic layer, and (d) a superficial layer.
