Abstract: A coin box unit used in a coin-box apparatus, for example, a coin-box telephone, which includes a base having an oblique plate, an actuating board pivoted to the oblique plate. and a switch hook, wherein the oblique plate has a coin inlet at the top, a through hole in the middle, a coin-return passageway and a coin-receiving passageway at the bottom, the coin-return passageway having an elongated top opening obliquely and downwardly extended to the coin-receiving passageway; the actuating board has a sloping bottom edge, and a rail disposed at the backside along the sloping bottom edge, which defines with the oblique plate and the actuating board a coin guide way extending toward the coin-return passageway and the coin-receiving passageway when the actuating board is closed on the oblique plate; the switch hook is pivoted to the oblique plate and forced to open the actuating board from the oblique plate.

Abstract: A leg rope connector plug for a body board or surfboard, comprising a lower coupler means having a head member having essentially planar upper and lower surfaces, and a first shank extending therefrom; an upper coupler means having a head member having essentially planar upper and lower surfaces, and a second shank extending therefrom, said first and second shanks being engageable together to sandwich the body board or surfboard therebetween, and two substantially radially extending cut outs, each terminating in a recess, forming a small sector shaped area therebetween on the head member of the upper coupler means, and a web extending from the planar lower surface, said web being joined to the shank of the head.

Abstract: A composite panel material for the back-lit display of graphic and alphanumeric designs and color fields as disclosed which includes regions that appear metallic and highly reflective when front-lit but which when back-lit transmit a portion of the back-lighting to give a "see-through metal" effect. Panelling material according to the design comprises a transparent base medium, daytime design images which are visible when the panel material is front- but not back-lit, and a partially reflective metallized element which appears opaque and shiny when front- but not when back-lit, of a pre-selected degree of transparency to permit the viewing of one set of images and colors in front-lighting and a different set under back-lighting of the panel material.

Abstract: Transport cart/patient table system for transferring an exchangeable slab of the patient table, which slab can be moved by means of a lifting arrangement, between the table and the transport cart, whereby the transport cart is moved under the patient table for the transfer of the exchangeable slab, has a first guide arranged on the transport cart and a second guide arranged on the patient table, which can be brought to engage one another as the cart is moved under the table. The guides engage in such a way to allow the transport cart to be pivotable and to be displaced longitudinally, while the engaged guides serve to guide the transport cart.

Abstract: An automotive prop shaft assembly particularly suited for coupling a transfer case to the front axle drive components comprises a tubular drive shaft having an initial uniform inner diameter relatively smaller than the outer diameter of a pair of forged insert yokes to be attached to the ends of the shaft. A section of each end of the tube is enlarged so that its inner diameter is sized to receive the yokes into the ends of the tube with an interference fit. The shaft and yokes are then welded together and weights fixed to the end sections to correct for imbalance.

Abstract: A refuse container includes a plurality of walls defining an interior for containing refuse and a discharge opening and a refuse discharge guide adjacent the discharge opening. The refuse discharge guide moves between a first position in which the guide extends away from the opening into the interior for loading refuse and a second position in which the guide extends away from the opening underneath the interior for funneling refuse during unloading.

Abstract: The adjustable clutch hinge assembly includes a shaft, an adjustment member connected to one end of the shaft, a metal inner cone member, and a metal outer cone member. The end of the shaft to which the adjustment member is connected is inserted into an aperture in the inner cone member, which is split, to allow a decrease of the internal diameter thereof, and has protruding key features, such that a threaded portion of the adjustment member protrudes out the opposite end of the inner cone member. The inner cone member resides within the outer cone member, which has receptive features for the inner cone member and its protruding key features to prevent rotation of the inner cone member within the outer cone member. When the threaded portion of the adjustment member protruding out the end of the inner cone member is drawn through the outer cone member, an outer surface of the inner cone member is forced against an inner surface of the outer cone.

Abstract: An unthreaded attachment of a joint eye to the piston rod of a vibration damper or spring strut, particularly by resistance welding. The piston rod and joint eye are held by one clamp electrode each, and the axial force created during welding is absorbed by a stop. A positive-locking connection is arranged between the piston rod and the clamp electrode to achieve axial fixing, so that joint eye can be attached in any installation state of the damper, even when the vibration damper is already installed.

Abstract: An arrangement for connecting two pipe ends comprising a respective closure part around each of the pipe ends. The closure parts are connected together in a bayonet-type connection. One closure part includes an annular surface with a first part parallel to a sealing device placed between the pipe ends and with a second part inclined with respect to the sealing device. The latter part draws the closure parts and the pipe ends together as the closure parts are rotated relatively toward each other and as the one closure part is guided along the inclined portion of the annular surface. A respective sealing surface is provided on each of the pipe end parts. The sealing surfaces are brought axially toward each other by movement together of the closure parts.

Abstract: The invention relates to a composite body which is assembled of at least two bodies. The first body is made of a first material and the second body is made of a second material. Each of the two bodies has at least one connecting surface and these connecting surfaces are mutually adjacent. The two connecting bodies are wrung upon each other on at least one connecting surface. The two connecting surfaces are connected to each other by wringing and on at least one of these two surfaces, one or more recesses are provided for an adhesive location or an adhesive gap. An adhesive ensures an additional adhesive connection of the two connecting surfaces at the adhesive location between the two bodies. These recesses of the adhesive locations lie at least essentially in the wringing surface.

Abstract: A power take off (PTO) shaft safety retainer provides for the retention of the output end of a PTO shaft at its connection to a driven machine, in the event of accidental disconnection of the output end of the shaft from the driven machinery due to breakage of a U-joint, dislodging of a safety pin, failure of the gearbox, etc. The device essentially comprises an attachment to the relatively stationary portion of the driven machine, with an arm or strut extending therefrom and supporting a selectively openable retaining band adjusted to surround the PTO shaft near its connection with the driven machinery. The attachment and strut are axially offset from the axis of the PTO shaft, in order to avoid interference with the connection of the shaft to the drive means of the driven machinery. The attachment may be removably or permanently secured to the machinery by opposed flanges and bolts, over center latches, hinges with removable pins, or welded, etc., as desired.

The projection is lockingly received in a corresponding passage (7) of a female member (4). One of the elements, preferably the female element, has an electronic label (8) encased therein. More specifically to be preferred embodiment, the electronic label, which is electromagnetically encodable and readable, is placed on a bottom wall (19) of a cavity (9) which is defined by peripheral side walls (11). One of the peripheral side walls and the bottom wall of the cavity define undercut or dove-tailed recesses (12). A polymer (10) is placed in the cavity in a fluid state filling the undercut recesses. The polymer is hardened, e.g. polymerized, to form a tamper proof bond with the female member.

The swinging pillow comprises a pillow body for accepting a user's head and left and right rising portions formed, respectively, as rising end portions positioned at both ends of the pillow body extending in a direction of a user's shoulder-width. The pillow is curved as a whole, being generally U-shaped, thus, the whole portion of the pillow functions as a pillow. Within the inside of at least one of the left and right rising portions, there can be provided a sound source.

A plurality of closely spaced coil springs are positioned within the envelope. The springs retain nearly all of the their resilience over the life of the mattress assembly, thus, providing for continued comfort to the user over an extended period of time.

Abstract: A modular playpen for infants and young children comprising five basic parts including a plurality of substantially rectangular side panels; a plurality of vertical uprights slidably affixed to each end of a side panel via a longitudinal groove running the length of each vertical upright, thereby forming an enclosure; floor pads positioned within the enclosure; a series of horizontal cross bars removably engaged to the lower portion of each vertical upright thereby providing support to the playpen; and a central post positioned beneath the floor pads to provide additional support to the floor pads. The modular playpen can be reconfigured in a variety of shapes to conform to space constraints, and can be assembled, disassembled and reassembled again quickly without the use of tools.

Abstract: An improved structure of a coin collector cover comprises an upper cover, a cover plate, a buckling piece, a positioning plate and a twisted spring. The upper cover is installed with a coin inlet and a slot. The cover plate is located on the plane of the upper cover. A plurality of teeth are installed on the edge thereof, and a twisted spring is arranged between the cover plate and the upper cover. By the elastic force of the twisted spring, the cover plate may be retained to cover the coin inlet. The buckling piece is pivotally installed on the plane of the upper cover. The edge thereof is installed with a plurality of teeth pieces for being engaged with the teeth of the cover plate. A nose portion is disposed at the edge thereof, while the buckling piece is further installed with a block which is combined with a lock. The edge of the positioning plate is formed with a concave portion for receiving the buckling piece so that the positioning plate can be installed on the plane of the upper cover.
