Abstract: A travel booking system abstracts the user from a travel search of web and internet searches initiated by the user and the search result of those searches to present the user with a consistent interface for both entry and results. As part of the abstraction the search introduces elements of one or more traveller profiles to delineate the searches. The user may investigate the search results for a trip or alternate route options returned by a search to further direct the search or to book a search result and when a booked itinerary is returned may load this to a traveller's device together with other assistance for phases of the trip.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of scheduling usage of modular exercise facility, comprising: presenting at least two types of workout rooms on a graphical interface of a user computing device; receiving a selection from the user device for one of the types of workout rooms; receiving a selection from the user device of a date and time; referencing a MySQL database of prior reservations on the date and time; calculating a room assignment to a workout room recorded as available in the MySQL database; and displaying a map to the assigned workout room on the user device.

Abstract: A computer based system for remapping prime class seat bookings is disclosed. The system remaps prime class bookings a floor class, or if the floor class is closed, into a higher, displacement class. Via remapping, airline systems, such as inventory management systems, revenue management systems, and the like, may better account for the true value of prime class bookings.

Vehicle access can be provided to a candidate user based on whether the user is included in a list of at least one user associated with a respective virtual key. Virtual keys can be created, or lists of at least one user can be updated to include the candidate user, to in turn provide vehicle access. Virtual keys can be stored in a plurality of virtual key slots, with vehicle access being provided based on a virtual key stored in an active key slot. Status reports can be sent to a reservation management device, for updating virtual keys or lists of at least one user.

Abstract: This is directed to systems and methods for integrating hotel services in a single application available to a portable electronic device. Using the single application, a user can access and control hotel services before arriving at the hotel, upon arriving at the hotel, in the hotel room, in the local vicinity, and after leaving the hotel. Such services can include, for example, checking-in and checking out, purchasing in-room dining or in-room entertainment, making reservations at local restaurants or local attractions, scheduling hotel guest reminders, and controlling room setting either within the room or outside of the room.

Abstract: A method and system may automatically provide a remote airline agent to a user. A server device receives pending requests to communicate with a remote airline agent from users each attempting to modify a flight segment or obtain assistance related to the flight segment. For each of the requests, the server device obtains flight information for the flight segments to identify a flight urgency level or a flight criticality level for the flight segment. The server device assigns a priority level to each of the pending requests based on one or more attributes associated with each pending request, ranks the pending requests in accordance with the assigned priority levels, and automatically connects to a client device for a highest ranked request of the pending requests to initiate a video chat between the user and the remote airline agent.

Booking data is received, at one or more computing devices, from one of a first and second client device. When received from the first client device, in a first order mode for the booking data, the device(s): cause an order management system (OMS) to generate: order data at a first database; and cause a legacy system to generate a corresponding passenger name record (PNR) at a second database, the corresponding PNR being one-way synchronized to the order data. When received from the second client device, in a legacy mode for the booking data, the device(s): cause the legacy system to generate, a PNR and/or ticket data at the second database; and cause the OMS to generate corresponding order data at the first database, the corresponding order data being one-way synchronized to the PNR and/or the ticket data.

Determining the zip code of the user can include determining the zip code of the user through at least one of using tracking cookies for the user using the website or geo-sniffing a current session of the user using the website. The method also can include receiving a selection by the user to display information about an item of the items for sale. The method additionally can include determining a shipping speed to display to the user for the item based on (a) a geo-classification for the item, (b) a list of fulfillment nodes that can currently deliver to the zip code of the user within a first shipping speed, and (c) a node-level inventory for the item. The method further can include facilitating a display of the shipping speed to the user. The geo-classification for the item is a first classification at least when a sale margin for the item exceeds a first predetermined margin threshold.

Abstract: To provide ride services within a mapping application in a client computing device without directing the user to a separate ride service application, the mapping application invokes one or several ride service APIs to access ride service data from various ride service providers. For example, the mapping application receives a request for travel directions to a destination and generates multi-modal travel directions which include a route segment where the mode of transportation is a ride service. The mapping application invokes one or several ride service APIs to retrieve a price estimate, estimated wait time, or any other suitable information regarding the ride service route segment. Accordingly, the mapping application provides the multi-modal travel directions to a user including information regarding the ride service route segment.

Abstract: A method for managing authorization to access a shared vehicle, the vehicle having a memory dimensioned to simultaneously store a maximum number of reservations. The method includes obtaining a first reservation of a vehicle, searching, in a local representation of the memory of the vehicle, for an available location for storing the first reservation, and when there is no available location for storing the first reservation, selecting, from the reservations stored in the local representation of the vehicle's memory, a second reservation such that the start date of the second reservation is after the start date of the first reservation, storing the characteristics of the second reservation in a waiting list, replacing, in the local representation of the memory of the vehicle, the selected reservation with the first reservation, and transmitting, to the vehicle, a command to delete the second reservation, and a command to add the first reservation.

Abstract: Data to define a travel rewards promotion is received over a network. The travel rewards promotion comprises traveler eligibility criteria and travel rewards criteria. At least one traveler is selected where the travel itinerary of the respective traveler matches traveler eligibility criteria for the promotion. The traveler is notified that he or she is eligible for the travel rewards promotion, the notification comprising a representation of the travel rewards criteria. A travel rewards promotion total is then compiled for the traveler and the traveler is notified of his or her respective promotion rewards total. In one embodiment, the traveler's current context is determined and matched to promotion alert criteria. The traveler is then alerted, over the network, that a travel rewards promotion is available to the respective traveler in the respective traveler's current context, the alert comprising a representation of the travel rewards criteria.

As another example, a technique for permitting customer to select a particular rental vehicle for a rental vehicle transaction using a mobile device is disclosed. Also disclosed is a technique for permitting a customer to keylessly start a rental vehicle using a machine-sensible item such as his/her mobile device without requiring the customer to possess a smart key.

Abstract: A method and system include identifying, by a processor, departing flight information that designates departure airports and departure times in payment card transaction data of a plurality of users. Airport-specific data for a departure airport before a departure time of a departing flight of a user from the plurality of users is received. The airport-specific data is inputted into a machine learning model that outputs a user-specific airport processing time for the user to reach a departure gate upon arriving to the departure airport. A travel time from a geographical location of the computing device of the user to the departure airport is received from a navigation system. The computing device displays a time for the user to start travel to the departure airport based on the user-specific airport processing time and the travel time to the departure airport for the user to reach the departure gate by the departure time.

Abstract: A notification system comprising a service order management system and a plurality of servicer devices. The service order management system comprises a service status receiving module and an estimated time of arrival (ETA) module. The service status receiving module is configured to receive information from a plurality of servicers. The information includes starting locations, service destinations and arrival times of the services performed by each servicer. The service status receiving module is configured to record the information. The ETA module is configured to calculate an initial ETA based on at least a portion of the recorded information. Each servicer device includes a service application. Each service application is configured to automatically receive the ETA from the service order management system and automatically display an en route notification interface on the servicer device when it is determined that the initial ETA is within an ETA notification window.
