Vehicle access can be provided to a candidate user based on whether the user is included in a list of at least one user associated with a respective virtual key. Virtual keys can be created, or lists of at least one user can be updated to include the candidate user, to in turn provide vehicle access. Virtual keys can be stored in a plurality of virtual key slots, with vehicle access being provided based on a virtual key stored in an active key slot. Status reports can be sent to a reservation management device, for updating virtual keys or lists of at least one user.

Abstract: A server includes a communicator, and a processor configured to: receive charging reservation information of an electric vehicle (EV) from a user terminal; based on the charging reservation information of the EV, transmit a request message for reservation of use of a last mile mobility (LMM) to a LMM module; transmit a response message responsive to the request message received from the LMM module, to the user terminal; and based on a user selection input being received from the user terminal, transmit an unlock request to the LMM module to unlock a LMM holder electrically connected to an EV charging station.

Abstract: A contact-less check-in system is disclosed. The system includes a kiosk that includes a housing, a display, and a communication module. The system further includes one or more processors and a memory with instructions stored within instructing the kiosk to receive input signals from a user device, transmit display signals to the display based on the input signals, and perform one or more business functions based on the input signals. The communication module may be configured to communicate with the user device via IEEE 802 protocols or infrared signals. A method to convert a contact-required check-in system to a contact-less check-in system in also disclosed.

Abstract: Embodiments herein generally relate to an electronic system and a method of monitoring and providing feedback to adjust and improve the allocation of, use of, and/or control over one or more physical spaces. Embodiments of the disclosure can provide an electronic system and method that allows a user to reserve a work space within a room or building. The methods disclosed herein can include inputting one or more desk preferences into one or more processing devices, receiving, at one or more electronic devices, the desk preferences, determining whether a suitable desk matching the desk preferences is available, and generating an alert on the one or more electronic devices regarding the availability of the suitable desk.

Abstract: A method and system may automatically provide a remote airline agent to a user. A server device receives pending requests to communicate with a remote airline agent from users each attempting to modify a flight segment or obtain assistance related to the flight segment. For each of the requests, the server device obtains flight information for the flight segments to identify a flight urgency level or a flight criticality level for the flight segment. The server device assigns a priority level to each of the pending requests based on one or more attributes associated with each pending request, ranks the pending requests in accordance with the assigned priority levels, and automatically connects to a client device for a highest ranked request of the pending requests to initiate a video chat between the user and the remote airline agent.

Abstract: To provide ride services within a mapping application in a client computing device without directing the user to a separate ride service application, the mapping application invokes one or several ride service APIs to access ride service data from various ride service providers. For example, the mapping application receives a request for travel directions to a destination and generates multi-modal travel directions which include a route segment where the mode of transportation is a ride service. The mapping application invokes one or several ride service APIs to retrieve a price estimate, estimated wait time, or any other suitable information regarding the ride service route segment. Accordingly, the mapping application provides the multi-modal travel directions to a user including information regarding the ride service route segment.

Abstract: Approaches to improving mixture queries and booking split stays are described herein. According to some aspects, a user utilizes an exploration tool to search for available lodging. A mixture query is generated based on the stay information received from the user and potential split stays are identified and presented to the user. In some aspects, the split stays are identified based on user-specified split stay criteria, search results are obtained from a local database of “live” pricing and availability information, and a selected split stay option is booked on behalf of the user. Example split stay criteria includes criteria pertaining to an amenity or characteristic of the available lodgings or the available rooms.

The system trains a modification probability model to determine probabilities for modification option acceptance. The system performs machine learning analysis by applying attributes associated with an item to the modification probability model to generate modification recommendations. Modification options are established for the item based on the modification recommendations. Subsequently, in response to a modification request from a customer, a modification user interface is provided to the customer using the modification options. The modification user interface includes blocked off time periods that cannot be selected and available time periods for modification along with a fee associated with each available time period. If an alternative start time or end time (e.g., an available time period) is selected, the system processes the selection and provides a confirmation to the customer.

Abstract: A travel booking system abstracts the user from a travel search of web and internet searches initiated by the user and the search result of those searches to present the user with a consistent interface for both entry and results. As part of the abstraction the search introduces elements of one or more traveller profiles to delineate the searches. The user may investigate the search results for a trip or alternate route options returned by a search to further direct the search or to book a search result and when a booked itinerary is returned may load this to a traveller's device together with other assistance for phases of the trip.
