Abstract: A queue monitoring system includes at least one sensor configured to monitor guests admitted from an entrance and generate a sensor signal. The system also includes a virtual queue controller comprising a processor and communications circuitry, wherein the virtual queue controller is configured to: communicate guest admittance information to an operator device, the guest admittance information causing the operator device to display a target number of guests to be admitted during a time interval; determine a count of guests admitted from the entrance during the time interval based on the sensor signal; determine a remaining number representative of remaining guests to be admitted based on the target number and the count of guests admitted from the entrance; and communicate a standby admit signal to the operator device to cause the operator device to display the remaining number.

Abstract: An electronic reservation method includes detecting that a user has utilized a first computing device in a transaction in which the user acquires an item, or acquires a voucher for a particular activity. An electronic reservation is created by a reservation server for the user based on the detecting that reserves one of a plurality of reservable locations within a predefined geographic area for the user. The plurality of reservable locations are configured for use of the item or for an activity related to but different than the particular activity. A credential for the electronic reservation is transmitted to a mobile computing device of the user.

Booking data is received, at one or more computing devices, from one of a first and second client device. When received from the first client device, in a first order mode for the booking data, the device(s): cause an order management system (OMS) to generate: order data at a first database; and cause a legacy system to generate a corresponding passenger name record (PNR) at a second database, the corresponding PNR being slaved to the order data. When received from the second client device, in a legacy mode for the booking data, the device(s): cause the legacy system to generate, a PNR and/or ticket data at the second database; and cause the OMS to generate corresponding order data at the first database, the corresponding order data being slaved to the PNR and/or the ticket data.

Abstract: A method for automated booking of an on-demand service in a multimodal journey includes receiving information related to a multimodal trip plan for a commuter trip. The multimodal trip plan includes a plurality of segments, and the plurality of segments include an on-demand service segment that requires an on-demand service vehicle as the mode of transport. The method also includes receiving real-time information relating to a location of the commuter from one or more location tracking sensors, determining an estimated time of arrival of the commuter at a transfer point for transfer to the on-demand service segment by analyzing the real-time information, identifying a time of availability of an on-demand service vehicle at the transfer point (as a function of a time of booking), and determining an optimal time of booking of the on-demand service vehicle based on the estimated time of arrival and the time of availability.

Abstract: This is directed to systems and methods for integrating hotel services in a single application available to a portable electronic device. Using the single application, a user can access and control hotel services before arriving at the hotel, upon arriving at the hotel, in the hotel room, in the local vicinity, and after leaving the hotel. Such services can include, for example, checking-in and checking out, purchasing in-room dining or in-room entertainment, making reservations at local restaurants or local attractions, scheduling hotel guest reminders, and controlling room setting either within the room or outside of the room.

Abstract: An estimate is provided for how long a guest will have to wait to enter a ride, restaurant, restroom, or other point of interest at a venue. Wait times are computed using one or more algorithms (e.g., Bayesian) that can combine direct measurements around the point of interest, historical measurements around the point of interest, and measurements taken from other systems not directly connected to the point of interest. Supporting systems will vary by venue and may include entry ticketing systems, network traffic, point of sale registers, event schedules, and proximity detectors in other parts of the venue. By comparing probabilities generated from this disparate data, current and future wait times can be estimated and provided to front-end devices corresponding to guests or staff.

Abstract: Socially distant seating arrangement management includes loading a seating chart for a seating area of an event venue into memory of a computer, setting both a social distancing parameter and also a seat width parameter for seats in the seating area and computing a number of successive seats with a combined width according to the seat width parameter minimally exceeding the social distancing parameter. The method further includes enabling for selection in a user interface to the seating chart, available ones of the seats in a selected row of the seating area that are separated from one another by the computed number of the seats and disabling from selection in the user interface, the seats separating the available ones of the seats. Finally, the method includes recording in the memory of the computer, different selections in the seating chart by different end users of the available ones of the seats.

The at least one processor may establish an airline reservation modification trigger event in the flight booking database and may receive the modified airline reservation information from the flight booking database when the airline reservation information was modified. The travel advisory may be updated for the account of the payment card issued by the financial institution in accordance with the modified airline reservation information.

Configuration instructions to configure the physical facility for a specific retail use in accordance with specific configuration parameters may be received from a retail portal. The configuration instructions may be processed into facility modification instructions that direct one or more facility operators affiliated with the physical facility to modify an attribute of the physical facility. The facility modification instructions may be provided to one or more facility operations devices to configure the facility according to the specific configuration parameters.

Abstract: A method for monitoring access to an electronically controllable device includes establishing communication between a mobile device and a control platform via a communication network. A booking, including first and second data, is created for a controllable device in the platform. The first data is access information and the second data is encrypted with an individual key which is assigned to an access control unit in the controllable device. The mobile device is wirelessly connected to the access unit and the second data, as well as a subset of the first data, is transmitted to the access unit which decrypts the second data and checks its signature. If the check is successful, a configuration of the access unit is adapted as a function of the decrypted data. Authorization for access to the controllable device by the mobile device is checked as a function of the decrypted data.

The user can use the map to determine which seats the user would like to purchase.

Abstract: A method and system for improved ordering and management of a seat assignment at a venue are provided. The method comprises modifying seat identifiers associated with seat locations and outputting the seat identifiers to a display system. The method further comprises identifying first information, determining a first seating arrangement from the first information, wherein the first seating arrangement identifies the seat locations with the seat identifiers, identifying second information, and determining a second seating arrangement from the second information, wherein the seat identifiers are modified to reflect to the second seating arrangement. The second seating arrangement is generated after the first seating arrangement. The system comprises a display system in a venue and a processor configured to display seating information through the display system. The display system comprises a plurality of display devices associated with a plurality of seats.
