Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for delivering packages to customers, comprising a memory storing instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to receive, from a first user device in a fulfillment center, a package identifier associated with a package for delivery to a customer, modify a database to assign the package identifier to a group, among a plurality of groups, based on a delivery address associated with the package identifier and a location of a camp to which the package is routed, generate a map of the plurality of groups, send the map for display on a second user device in the camp, and send for display an activatable icon on a location on the map, wherein the location of the activatable icon on the map is associated with the delivery address of the package.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable storage media for crowd control based on check-in time recommendations, including operations of receiving, from a plurality of users, travel information, the travel information including, for each of the plurality of users, a user identification, a departure location, and a departure time, determining a total number of passengers within a time interval associated to the departure time from the departure location, generating a recommended check-in time for each of the plurality of users based on the travel information and the total number of passengers, displaying for each of the plurality of users the recommended check-in time, and activating a setting of a ticket verification device to prevent access to a portion of the departure location for each of the plurality of users before the recommended check-in time.

Abstract: A method for pricing digital content available for purchase and download from a server to a network connected computing device includes providing a quantity of digital content items, which are ranked. A plurality of pricing tiers for the digital content items is created. A sale price of each of the digital content items is designated based on the rank. At least a portion of the digital content items is made available for purchase wherein the sale price for the content to be displayed on at least one user computing device. A download request is received from the user computing device to download at least one digital content item. The sale price of at least a portion of the quantity of the digital content items is adjusted according to the pricing tiers.

Abstract: A system and method for actively updating a data cache is provided. In an embodiment, a plurality of travel listings is received from a plurality of data sources and stored in a data cache. Invalidity prediction instructions are used to determine that a travel listing in the data cache contains inaccurate information. Listing relationship instructions are used to identify listings that are related to the travel listing that contains inaccurate information. Data update requests are then sent to the plurality of data sources for the related listings.

In embodiments, a first signal indicating that an item utilized a select transit entity is received, wherein a quantity of units to incrementally associate with utilization by the item of the select transit entity is determined. A second signal associated with the item indicating a procurement request is then made to a select provider and reducing at least some units associated with the item and signaling the select provider that the procurement request is to transpire at a reduced rate.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are disclosed whereby a business partner computer system interfaces with a rental vehicle reservation management computer system via a web service connector. The web service connector can be configured to (1) receive, via a network, a document, the document comprising a web service request by a computer system of a business partner for a rental vehicle transaction with respect to a replacement rental vehicle reservation, (2) process the received document in accordance with a web service specification document to create one or more data objects having a format supported by a rental vehicle reservation management software program, and (3) communicate the one or more data objects to the rental vehicle reservation management software program for automatic processing thereby of the one or more data objects for management of the replacement rental vehicle reservation in accordance with the request.

According to certain aspects, an electronic device may receive and analyze image data depicting an individual located within a vehicle. The electronic device may also access certain data related to a condition of the individual, and may accordingly determine whether the individual is fit to operate the vehicle. If the individual is unfit to operate the vehicle, the electronic device may generate and display a notification that indicates certain alternate modes of transportation or available lodging in a vicinity of the electronic device.

Abstract: A system for generating a carpooling prediction includes a computer that performs the operations of receiving a query for a ride match location from a user computing device. The query includes a given destination location and target arrival time for reaching the destination. The computer is operative to transmit coordinates to the user computing device of a location where a user can find other users willing to rideshare. For a number of passengers that are looking for a ride to a given destination during a given time, the computer is operative to predict a number of drivers that will pass or end at the given destination during a given time interval that includes the target time. For a number of drivers that are looking to offer a ride to a given destination during a given time, the computer is further operative to predict a number of passengers that will pass or wait at a given node, for example, along the drivers' route or alternate route, for reaching the destination.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for facilitating remote check-in and associated proxy shopping operations. A proxy customer of a merchant may be a friend of a remote customer that is making a purchase at the merchant on behalf of the remote customer. A beacon may alert the proxy customer to check-in to the merchant. The proxy customer may forward the alert to the remote customer. The remote customer may request remote check-in responsive to the alert. A payment provider or service provider may perform a remote check-in of the remote customer and a proxy check-in of the proxy customer. When the proxy customer wishes to make a proxy purchase for the remote user, the merchant may verify the proxy customer's identity and charge the payment provider. The payment provider may then transfer funds from remote customer's account to the merchant's account.
