Abstract: The present invention provides a method for allocating ticket inventory on a buyer's side. The method includes steps of, loading, the webpage, providing a map, checking compatibility of map, initializing plug-in, and mapping seats. Further, the map is represented with respective tickets with location, quantity and amount on the webpage. Moreover, the ticket list with triggering onInit is generated on the webpage or an existing external tabular ticket list is controlled by the plugin thereby loading the map completely with corresponding ticket inventory matching respective portions on map simultaneously while loading the webpage on the buyer's device thereby enabling the buyer to select desired seating section.

Abstract: Data to define a travel rewards promotion is received over a network. The travel rewards promotion comprises traveler eligibility criteria and travel rewards criteria. At least one traveler is selected where the travel itinerary of the respective traveler matches traveler eligibility criteria for the promotion. The traveler is notified that he or she is eligible for the travel rewards promotion, the notification comprising a representation of the travel rewards criteria. A travel rewards promotion total is then compiled for the traveler and the traveler is notified of his or her respective promotion rewards total. In one embodiment, the traveler's current context is determined and matched to promotion alert criteria. The traveler is then alerted, over the network, that a travel rewards promotion is available to the respective traveler in the respective traveler's current context, the alert comprising a representation of the travel rewards criteria.

Abstract: A number of techniques are disclosed for making it more convenient and efficient for customers to conduct various rental vehicle transactions. As an example, a technique for performing an automated pickup of a rental vehicle using a mobile device is disclosed. As another example, a technique for performing an automated return administration of a rental vehicle using a mobile device is disclosed. As another example, a technique for permitting customer to select a particular rental vehicle for a rental vehicle transaction using a mobile device is disclosed. Also disclosed is a technique for permitting a customer to keylessly start a rental vehicle using a machine-sensible item such as his/her mobile device without requiring the customer to possess a smart key.

Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide a travel payment intermediary system configured to analyse travel booking data and identify itinerary item transactions eligible for virtual credit card (VCC) payments. For each of these itinerary item transactions the system and method can automatically trigger generation of an appropriate VCC to affect payment. Embodiments can also update a travel booking with data to associate the generated VCC with the itinerary item for payment.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for validating a ticket based on biometric data provided by a ticket holding user. A ticket controller device broadcasts an inquiry frame specifying a request for authentication data for a ticket user requesting access to a service hosted by the ticket controller. A mobile device may receive the inquiry frame and generate a response frame encapsulating a ticket identifier and biometric data associated with a user. The ticket controller receives the response frame including the ticket identifier and the biometric data. Upon determining that the ticket identifier and the biometric data encapsulated in the response frame matches a stored ticket identifier and biometric data, the ticket controller grants the user access to the service.

Abstract: A storage equipment and a door-to-door delivery system stores deliveries in boxes and allows a user easy access to the delivery even when a plurality of separate deliveries to the same resident is delivered during different and multiple times. The system includes a storage equipment element that stores the delivery delivered for a door-to-door delivery service; a control server, connected to the storage equipment via a network which controls data relative to the door-to-door delivery service: a user terminal, connected to the storage equipment via a network and operated by the addressee-user of the delivery and a carrier terminal, connected to the storage equipment via the network and operated by the carrier who delivers the delivery to the addressee-resident.

Abstract: Techniques for automated profile-based transaction processing are provided. A customer uses a cloud-based service to establish one or more transaction profiles. When that customer subsequently accesses a self-service device to perform a transaction, the cloud-based service is automatically contacted and the transaction is automatically completed on behalf of the customer at the self-service device using a particular one of the customer's transaction profiles.

Abstract: Methods and systems for improving seat selection at a venue are described. The methods and systems help users understand how good a view they will have of a performance or event and/or how enjoyable an experience they will have before they purchase a ticket. A user selects a seat and is able to access relevant traits of people who purchased seats proximate to the selected seat. Relevant traits include physical features such as height, weight, build, etc., and behavior information, such as how noisy or quiet the person is.

Abstract: An advertising system receives, from a merchant system, marketing information, bidding preferences for auctions for advertising spaces, and a merchant system reservation calendar comprising an availability for the merchant system. The advertising system receives a notice of an auction for an advertising space from an advertising platform. The advertising system determines a first bid for the auction based on the availability of the merchant system, the marketing information, and the merchant system's bidding preferences and transmits the first bid to the advertising platform. The advertising system receives a notice of an incomplete auction from the advertising platform. The advertising system receives, from the merchant system, an updated merchant system reservation calendar comprising an updated availability and determines a second bid for the advertising space auction. The advertising system transmits the second bid to the advertising platform.

Abstract: Systems and methods for RFID fare collection for improving passenger throughput and security in transit systems. RFID tags identify passengers at a distance and allow a hands-free experience for transit users. The system includes gate cabinets and/or other entry points that define a passageway and separate a non-restricted access area from a restricted access area, at least one RFID transmitter positioned on the entry points, at least one RFID receiver positioned on the entry points, and a processor coupled with the RFID receiver. The system detects the presence of the RFID tag within the passageway and detects information linking to the account balance of the user. The system determines whether transit users are entering or exiting the restricted access area based on analysis of the wireless signals received by the RFID receivers, and provides an alarm signal when a transit user is not permitted to access the restricted access area.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to systems and methods for electronically booking ride share trips. The systems and methods can involve a data storage device storing ride sharing records with itineraries including a plurality of legs. The systems and methods can involve at least one processor configured to receive a trip booking request for a passenger, the trip booking request defining passenger constraints including a desired pickup time or drop off time. The at least one processor is configured to generate trip booking options from available ride sharing itineraries, each trip booking option including a leg that satisfies the passenger constraints of the trip booking request. The at least one processor is configured to compute objective values for the trip booking options and remove at least one trip booking option based on a comparison of its objective value and temporal proximity to at least one other trip booking option.

Abstract: A system and method for displaying seat inventory at a venue and facilitating planning of ticket prices for events at the venue is presented. Methods to predict total revenue for an event are described. Also presented are systems and methods for determining at what price and when to release so-called ‘flex’ price tickets during an on-sale using the sales velocity and sales/inquiry ratios. Determining demand of seats from secondary markets is also described with methods to use the demand for either re-pricing the seats in the primary market or presenting ‘best value’ seats to a prospective purchaser.

The server communicates with devices at the establishment and customer computing devices in real-time, providing system performance updates, text messaging communications to the customer regarding table availability and marketing information and synchronizing the information communicated within the system. A computer user interface at the establishment communicates with the server and allows an establishment host to capture and transmit customer information to the server and make of the server processing requests that can include sending text message alert notifications to a customer mobile device informing of an available table and providing marketing messages.
