Abstract: A launchable biodegradable vessel for delivery of cremated remains or other dry materials into a body of water. The vessel is a prolate spheroid of size and shape designed specifically for easy handling and delivery by hand, or by an air cannon or other launching device to achieve greater and/or safer distance. The vessel is made of a dissolvable plastic or plant-based material that will break down in fresh or salt water. The vessel may be designed for faster dispersion of cremated remains or other dry materials once it makes contact with the water, by the placement of holes in its shell.

Abstract: A handle barrier is configured to manipulate a handle while keeping a human hand separated from the handle. The handle barrier includes a body portion attached to a rear end having a left rear double arcuate portion, a right rear double arcuate portion, a front end having a left front arcuate portion and a right front arcuate portion. The left front arcuate portion and the right front arcuate portion are configured perpendicular to the body portion and further configured to accommodate the handle. The left front arcuate portion, the right front arcuate portion, the left rear double arcuate portion and the right rear double arcuate portion are further configured to be concave forming a central channel that is configured to accommodate the handle.

Abstract: A self-orienting twin castor with a braking assembly is provided. A main body of the castor rotatably mates with a base of an installation device. The body has a through hole for rotatably accommodating a shaft having two coupling ends for respective wheels, with play along a vertical direction. Elastic means are arranged within a transverse channel of the through hole of the body. The main body has two tubular lateral portions, which are coaxial with the through hole and adapted to accommodate a sleeve of a respective wheel fitted on a coupling end of the shaft. A portion of the castor has, along its inner surface, at least one radially protruding slider parallel to the axis of the shaft.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a closeable container for storing a cadaver where the container has a passthrough unit that may allow for filtration and includes an opeanable one-way flow valve that allows for fluids such as gas to travel only from inside the container to the exterior of the container. The passthrough unit includes a coupling for mating with an air purifying canister or cartridge.

Abstract: A device configured to securely and automatically receive parcel is described. The device is equipped with a front door and an automatic top rolling door in order to accommodate parcel delivery via conventional parcel delivery personnel, or delivery via airlift from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The device is also equipped with a secure internet connection which facilitates communication between recipient and delivery personnel, as well as expedites the delivery confirmation process upon parcel delivery. Audio and video capture and transmission equipment on-board the device permit the recipient to remotely provide access to the device upon authentication of identity and/or credentials.

Abstract: A viewing coffin is provided that can support a deceased individual and provide a means of viewing the same without opening the coffin door. The coffin comprises a substantially rectangular structure with an open upper and a coffin door thereover. The coffin door includes an upper portion that comprises a transparent surface. The upper portion is configured to be disposed over the upper body of an individual within the coffin for viewing purposes. The coffin door further comprises a channel disposed within the door and below the upper portion. A slidable lid is provided within the channel that can be operably deployed over the transparent surface to shroud the individual therein. In this way, the lid provides a means to allow viewing of the individual, while the transparent surface separates the body from the ambient environment.

Abstract: A device and method for making a tool for use in housekeeping or gardening is disclosed. The tool includes a handle and an end effector that are joined together using an end fitting attached to the end of the handle and a coupler attached to the end effector, such as a mop, brush, broom and the like. The end fitting and the coupler are fitted together and pinned using a clip to prevent rotation of one respect to the other. The end fitting and coupler may be fitted together with a threaded connection in addition to the clip and the end effector may be threaded and glued to the end effector. The end fitting may be received in the end fitting and secured with fasteners or be made integral to the end fitting.
