Abstract: A locking stem includes a bolt fastener having a pivoting tab that is disposed within a radial slot formed in one end of a shaft of the fastener, the pivoting tab pivots about a pivot, the tab has a pivot point located off center so the tab falls to one side when tilted. The bolt fastener attaches to a complementary fastener attached to a fixture. The locking stem may be for a caster.
Abstract: The inflatable coin bank is a decorative coin bank which grows in size with each coin inserted and stored therein. The inflatable coin bank includes a flexible housing with a coin receptacle received therein. The receptacle has a slot formed therethrough for receiving the coins. A sensor is mounted adjacent the slot formed through the receptacle for selectively generating an actuation signal when a coin passes through the slot. An inflatable bladder is further received within the flexible housing. An air pump is in communication with the inflatable bladder and the sensor, such that the air pump partially inflates the inflatable bladder with a pre-determined volume of air when the sensor generates the actuation signal. In this way, the inflatable bladder grows in volume with each insertion of a coin through the slot.

Abstract: A hinge, providing a swinging function for a first object attached thereto with respect to a stationary object attached thereto, includes a first leaf; a second leaf; and a pintle. The first leaf has a first knuckle. The second leaf has a second knuckle forming a volume for receiving said pintle. The second knuckle has a contact arm located within the volume. The pintle has a first stop surface feature and a second stop surface feature. The first stop surface feature causes the swinging function of the first object to stop when the contact arm of the second knuckle engages, by contact, the first stop surface feature. The second stop surface feature causes the swinging function of the first object to stop when the contact arm of the second knuckle engages, by contact, the second stop surface feature.
Abstract: A damped hinge assembly mounts a first member (12, 13) for pivotal movement relative to a second member (14) about an axis of rotation (20). The assembly includes a linear damper (17), which is mounted with its longitudinal axis parallel to the hinge axis, and a cam drive arrangement (21a, 21b, 30a, 30b) for converting the pivotal movement of the first member in at least one direction of rotation into linear displacement of the damper. This causes the damper to produce a damped resistive force to counter the pivotal movement of the first member. The longitudinal axis of the damper is arranged to be coincident with the hinge axis.

Abstract: A telescopic pipe structure for a pole saw includes an inner pipe, an outer pipe fitted to the inner pipe and moving relative to the inner pipe, and an adjusting device. The adjusting device includes a body, a pressing unit, and an adjusting unit. The outer pipe is penetratingly disposed at a sleeve hole of the body. The pressing unit is pivotally disposed a pressing portion of the body to press against inner pipe and stop movement of the inner pipe. The adjusting unit is disposed at a positioning portion of the body and has a driving element and a positioning element driven by the driving element. The driving element can be at first and second positions, and thus the positioning element moves in one and another directions of the sleeve hole, so as to enable and disable the positioning of the outer and inner pipes, respectively.
