  • Publication number: 20240171709
Abstract: An emergency dispatch system configured to allow first responders to efficiently utilize video-based systems using static images of a space and to understand a physical layout of the space. The system includes a dispatch processing hub linked via a communications network with client devices. The system further includes data storage storing a static image of a monitored space from a supplemental camera and video of the monitored space from video sources. A map interface generator is provided that is configured for generating a map-based interface for display upon a display device of the client devices. The map-based interface provides access to the static image and to the video. The hub functions to serve the map-based interface to the client devices. The dispatch processing hub responds to user input selecting the static image by providing a view, e.g., a 360-degree view, of the monitored space based on the static image.

  • Patent number: 11990220
Abstract: Aspects relate to calculating energy expenditure values from an apparatus configured to be worn on an appendage of a user. Steps counts may be quantified, such as by detecting arm swings peaks and bounce peaks in motion data. A search range of acceleration frequencies related to an expected activity may be established. Frequencies of acceleration data within a search range may be analyzed to identify one or more peaks, such as a bounce peak and an arm swing peak. Novel systems and methods may determine whether to utilize the arm swing data, bounce data, and/or other data or portions of data to quantify steps. The number of peaks (and types of peaks) may be used to choose a step frequency and step magnitude. At least a portion of the motion data may be classified into an activity category based upon the quantification of steps.

  • Publication number: 20240160020
Abstract: Intelligent application of reserves to transactions is described. In an example, server(s) associated with a payment processing service receives first transaction data associated with a plurality of first transactions, wherein the first transaction data includes indications, for an individual first transaction, of whether a chargeback request occurred and item(s) and a customer associated with the transaction. In an example, the servers process the plurality of first transactions. A predictive model is trained based at least in part on the first transaction data. Second transaction data is received from a POS device of a second merchant associated with a second transaction. A value reflective of a level of risk for the second transaction is determined based on inputting an item or customer associated with the second transaction into the predictive model.

  • Publication number: 20240151139
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying a likelihood that a reservoir of a geological formation received a secondary charge of hydrocarbons of relatively very different thermal maturity of composition are provided. One method includes positioning a downhole acquisition tool in a wellbore in a geological formation and testing one or more fluid properties of the formation fluid. Data processing circuitry may identify whether a relationship of the one or more fluid properties exceeds a first threshold that indicates likely asphaltene instability. When this is the case, data processing circuitry may be used to model the geological formation using a realization scenario in which multiple charges of hydrocarbons of substantially different thermal maturity or substantially different composition, or both, filled a reservoir of the geological formation over geologic time.

  • Publication number: 20240143502
Abstract: An apparatus and method for implementing a Level 0 cache within a cache subsystem. For example, one embodiment of a processor comprises: a cache subsystem comprising a Level-0 cache; a scheduler to schedule a load operation indicating data to be loaded; and a load hit predictor to predict whether the data indicated by the load operation is stored in the LO cache and to generate a wakeup signal to the scheduler in response to predicting that the data is stored in the LO cache. Some implementations perform store forwarding in response to load operations using a multi-step approach in which a partial linear address check is performed to determine load operations which are eligible for store forwarding. A full address check is performed for those load operations which are eligible in which the address of the load is compared against the address of a youngest older store operation.

  • Publication number: 20240144792
Abstract: A device directed to providing for a means for a security or alarm system to detect a measured deviation in the ambient decibel level in the monitored area indicating that vehicles or equipment are being cranked and started at a time when they should not be. The measurement of a predetermined variance in the decibel level can invoke notifications, sirens and the video taping of the area in order to deter the theft. This invention may be an option added to any existing security system as an article of intermediate manufacture. In addition to decibel level detector feature, each vehicle's running engine sound can be loaded into the security system which, similar to a voice recognition system, allows the security system to identify which vehicle is being started.
