  • Publication number: 20230189710
Abstract: A map is obtained by an agricultural system. The map includes values of one or more characteristics at different geographic locations in a worksite. In-situ sensor data indicative of values of one or more crop constituents at cut heights is obtained as the mobile machine operates at the worksite. A predictive model generator generates a predictive model that models a relationship between values of the one or more crop constituents at cut heights and the values of the one or more characteristics in the map. A predictive map generator generates a predictive map that predicts values of the one or more crop constituents at two or more cut heights at different geographic locations in the worksite based on the predictive model. The predictive map can be output and used in automated machine control.

  • Publication number: 20230149858
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed ion-exchange systems and devices that include composite ion-exchange membranes having 3D printed spacers on them. These 3D printed spacers can drastically reduce the total intermembrane spacing within the system/device while maintaining a reliable sealing surface around the exterior border of the membrane. By adding the spacers directly to the membrane using additive manufacturing, the amount of material used can be reduced without adversely impacting the manufacturability of the composite membrane as well as allow for complex spacer geometries that can reduce the restrictions to flow resulting in less pressure drop associated with the flow in the active area of the membranes.

  • Patent number: 11640374
Abstract: An operations server synchronizes updates to a cloud-based shared versioned file system. The shared versioned file system includes directories and sub-directories that are divided into shards. The operations server coordinates requests from local filer servers, each running a respective local version of the shared versioned file system, to update a shard in the cloud-based shared versioned file system. The operations server can provide a global lock on the shard to a local filer server before it updates the shard in the cloud-based shared versioned file system.

  • Patent number: 11578520
Abstract: A commercial vehicle used for parcel delivery is installed with a control module. The control module communicates wirelessly with a transmitter to give control to the vehicle operator. The vehicle operator can access the vehicle's cargo compartment through the bulkhead door and/or the rear door solely by using the transmitter as opposed to manually actuating the door latch. A door actuator is added to the bulkhead door such that when the bulkhead door is wirelessly actuated the door opens without operator assistance, and the process of the door opening does not damage the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle operator can initiate the control module to allow a push-button start and stop of the vehicle's ignition system. Such elements contribute to time savings and cost savings for parcel delivery operators.
