  • Patent number: 11741001
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for optimally performing stress testing against big data management systems. A set of random test queries is generated and compiled to determine the data points of the features (e.g., table type being queried) of the set of random test queries. A distance (e.g., Mahalanobis distance) is then measured between the data points of the features and the mean of a distribution of data points corresponding to each same feature of an extracted feature set. Each random test query whose distance exceeds a threshold distance is then ranked. The ranked random test queries are then executed in order of rank. Those executed random test queries which resulted in an error (e.g., system failure) are added to a log, which is used to identify those queries to perform a stress test against the big data management system.

  • Patent number: 11699434
Abstract: Embodiments provide for improved data sequence validity processing, for example to determine validity of sentences or other language within a particular language domain. Such improved processing is useful at least for arranging data sequences based on determined validity, and/or making determinations and/or performing actions based on the determined validity. A determined probability (e.g., transformed into the perplexity space) of each token appearing in a data sequence is used in any of a myriad of manners to perform such data sequence validity processing. Example embodiments provide for generating a perplexity value set for each data sequence in a plurality of data sequences, generating a probabilistic ranking set for the plurality of data sequences based on the perplexity value sets and at least one sequence ranking metric, and generating an arrangement of the plurality of data sequences based on the probabilistic ranking set.

  • Publication number: 20230204817
Abstract: The present invention consists of a method of automatic adjustment of multiphase flow models using the principle of least squares in the correction of the systematic error of simulated pressure drop and temperature drop values. This has been implemented and automated in the form of a computational algorithm and applied in the case study of an actual Production System using Marlim II simulator. For all four multiphase flow correlation sets considered, the adjustments followed each other stably, converging after a few iterations. At the end of the activity, the four sets were found to perform better than the best unadjusted set of correlations. In addition, the method provides consistent results, which is an advantage over the manual adjustment method. Accordingly, the present invention has drastically reduced the time required for optimizing the adjustment factors of flow models and has improved quality of the adjusted model as compared to the final model obtained with manual adjustment.
