  • Publication number: 20220180863
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for improved data sequence validity processing, for example to determine validity of sentences or other language within a particular language domain. Such improved processing is useful at least for arranging data sequences based on determined validity, and/or making determinations and/or performing actions based on the determined validity. A determined probability (e.g., transformed into the perplexity space) of each token appearing in a data sequence is used in any of a myriad of manners to perform such data sequence validity processing. Example embodiments provide for generating a perplexity value set for each data sequence in a plurality of data sequences, generating a probabilistic ranking set for the plurality of data sequences based on the perplexity value sets and at least one sequence ranking metric, and generating an arrangement of the plurality of data sequences based on the probabilistic ranking set.

  • Publication number: 20220161306
Abstract: A single-patient-use disposable tool comprises a molded, single-piece body with a curved upper surface having a predetermined bend radius for bending a needle slidably disposed in a sheath. A distal end of the curved surface has a slot for insertion of a tip of a needle, while the proximal end of the curved surface has a guide member for slidably receiving the sheath. Two finger loops or similar ergonomic features allow the user to rotate the bending tool relative to the sheath to bend the needle about the predetermined bend radius. After completing the bend, the tool is removed from the needle and disposed of.

  • Patent number: 11341097
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products are provided for prefetching based on historical use and real-time signals. Forecast models may be configured to forecast whether to prefetch information (e.g. keys responsive to queries) for future time intervals based on historical use and internal or external signals that may influence forecasts, such as prevailing conditions. Historical use of keys may be analyzed for patterns and trends with multiple seasonalities per category and/or per key. Time series data and forecasts may be indexed by cache categories and time intervals. Forecast models may be trainable, optimizable, configurable and/or auto-correcting on a per-category and/or a per-key basis. Forecast precision indicators, confidence indicators and configurable thresholds may be used to optimize performance. Operations may be distributed among multiple servers. Tasks may be time-distributed by offsets. Cached information may be assigned a time to live (TTL) independent of other cached information.

  • Patent number: 11314242
Abstract: An example method can comprise creating a non-linear neural network based model of a system based on historical operational data of the system and receiving first sensor data from a plurality of sensors associated with the system. Predicted next sensor data can be determined based on the received first sensor data and the non-linear network model. Second sensor data can be received from the plurality of sensors, and a measure of deviation between the predicted next sensor data and the received second sensor data is calculated. In response to the measured deviation exceeding a predefined threshold; it can be determined that a fault has occurred.

  • Patent number: 11233628
Abstract: Shannon's equivocation, the conditional entropy of key or message with respect to a specific ciphertext, is the primary indicator of the security of any secrecy system, in that when key equivocation H E (K) or message equivocation H E (M) attain log 0 (or 1) under a brute-force attack, the system is compromised and has no security. We propose a simplistic equivocation definition of security which distinguishes between “secure/unsolvable” and “insecure/solvable” encipherments.
