Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for handling potential service load interruptions. The utilization of resources, such as servers in a service infrastructure of a SaaS provider, are monitored. If the utilization of a resource exceeds a threshold, then the resource is identified as having an excessive service load leading to a potential service load interruption. When a request is received from a user requesting to access such a resource, one or more action items to be completed by the user are generated and presented to the user. “Action items” refer to any activity that is required by the user to be performed thereby providing the SaaS provider additional time to address the potential service load interruption in an appropriate manner. Additional action item(s) will be presented to the user until the SaaS provider addresses the potential service load interruption, at which point, the request will be serviced.

Abstract: A computing system, computer-implemented method, and computer program product are provided for facilitating behavior based notifications concerning multiparty communication threads. According to an implementation, the computer-implemented method may include defining a rules set associated with a user for participation in a multiparty communication thread. The method may also include evaluating a plurality of communications associated with the multiparty communication thread. The method may also include determining when a given communication associated with the multiparty communication thread satisfies one or more of the rules included within the rules set. The method may further include delivering the given communication based upon, at least in part, a determining that the given communication satisfies the one or more rules.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide a temporary privacy mode for an electronic device. The user selects one or more regions of allowable content and/or unallowable content. The user then invokes a temporary privacy mode of the device. While the device is in the temporary privacy mode, only the allowable content is viewable on the display of the electronic device. The unallowable content is obfuscated or hidden from view. The third party therefore cannot see the content deemed private by the user. When the third party has completed review of the content, the user can exit the temporary privacy mode to return to normal operation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for establishing an ad-hoc collaboration between unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are provided. A method includes: configuring intent data of a first UAV using a controller of the first UAV; configuring a collaboration plan for the first UAV and a second UAV based on a determination of a shared intent between the first UAV and the second UAV; executing the collaboration plan by flying the first UAV and gathering data using the first UAV based on the collaboration plan; and sharing the gathered data with an operator of the second UAV.

Abstract: A method and associated server and computer program product for publishing content on a social media network. A probability that content requested for publication by a user would be published independently by the user on the social media network is calculated in real time. The probability is calculated in real time as a function of a comparison of the content with a repository of stored information about the user. In response to determining the probability, in real time, as having a value greater than or equal to a confidence interval selected by the user, the content is published automatically and in real time as a joint publication on the social medial network, accessible for viewing by joint-content viewers.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for ensuring a desired distribution of images in a multimedia document (e.g., yearbook, slideshow). A desired distribution of facial signatures in a multimedia document to be created by the user is received. Upon receiving an image to be added to the multimedia document by the user, a facial signature for a face detected in the image is generated. The current number of instances of the facial signature in the multimedia document is then determined. A determination is then made as to whether the current number of instances of the facial signature meets the desired distribution. An indication is then provided to the user as to whether the current number of instances of the facial signature meets or does not meet the desired distribution. In this manner, the user can ensure a desired distribution of images in the multimedia document.

Abstract: There are provided a system, a method and a computer program product for controlling one or more media files in a mobile device. The system predicts a future usage of the media files. The system ranks each media file according to a likelihood that the each media file is processed at a time and a location associated with the predicted future usages. The system preemptively downloads the media files to a local data storage device of the mobile device, according to the ranking. There are also provided a system, a method and a computer program product for using one or more networks for a mobile device. The mobile device downloads an amount of data while the mobile device is connected to the first pre-determined wireless network. The mobile device configures certain applications in the mobile device to use the second pre-determined wireless network.

Abstract: A publication tool, and methods of use thereof, for publishing user created content as well as republishing content created by others to a social media network. The publication tool incorporates and uses analytic data from a plurality of data sources to identify and evaluate relationships between the user of the social media network and members of social media networks who subscribe to view the content published by the user on the social media network. The publication tool predicts the likelihood that a subscriber of the social media network will publish or share the same content as the user and if the publication tool predicts that the same content will be published by the user and the subscriber, the publication tool will publish the content on the social media network as a joint publication which can be viewed by all common subscribers shared between the user and the subscriber.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for generating an electronic communication response for a mobile electronic device in an offline state. A communication server detects various offline conditions, such as explicitly powered off, low/dead battery, dead zone location, and/or other reasons. A sending electronic device, attempting to establish communication with a receiving electronic device that is offline receives an automated reply message from the communication server, indicating that the intended receiving electronic device is offline. In embodiments, an estimated online restoration time for the receiving electronic device is derived and included in the automated reply message. Additionally, a reason for the offline condition such as explicitly powered off, low/dead battery, dead zone location, and/or other reason may also be included in the automated reply message.

The message includes a time-sensitive posting, which is related to an event that occurs at an event time. Processor(s) then compare a current time to the event time. In response to determining that the current time is within a predefined time period in proximity to the event time, processor(s) issue an instruction to alter a state of the message.

Abstract: Methods and systems may provide for joining an overlay network of a plurality of peer devices and identifying a local preference for an area service available to the plurality of peer devices. Additionally, the local preference may be used to negotiate a common preference for the area service with the plurality of peer devices. In one example, the common preference is a best fit value for the plurality of peer devices on the overlay network.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for facilitating access to a resource represented in an image at a later time. A screen capture of an image displayed on a computing device is implemented. Metadata, including the resource location, resource navigation and positional metadata, regarding the source data of the screen capture image is generated. The generated metadata is then embedded into the screen capture image. The screen capture image with the embedded metadata is then transmitted to a different user. By embedding the metadata into the screen capture image, the user receiving the screen capture image will be able to reproduce the state of the source environment when the image was captured using the embedded metadata thereby opening the resource represented in the image.

Abstract: In an approach to securing data using visual hashing, one or more computer processors receive a user access request for hashed image. The one or more computer processors identify one or more access request parameters for the hashed image. The one or more computer processors determine whether the user access request for the hashed image meets the one or more access request parameters. Responsive to determining that the user access request for the hashed image meets the one or more access request parameters, the one or more computer processors identify one or more user access permissions. The one or more computer processors prepare a modified image of the hashed image corresponding to the identified one or more user access permissions. The one or more computer processors send the modified image of the hashed image corresponding to the one or more user access permissions to a requesting user.

Abstract: An approach is provided in which an information handling system deploys a container into a container group. The container includes service level information corresponding to a service level. A process executing within the container group analyzes the service level information against status data corresponding to the container group and performs a service-related action to enforce the service level within the container group based on the analysis.

Abstract: Systems and methods for recalling digital content utilizing contextual data are disclosed. In embodiments, a method includes: determining, by a computing device, that a user has accessed a content item from a content resource; associating, by the computing device, the content item with session data, the session data including a route between a first location and a second location; receiving, by the computing device, a first search query; determining, by the computing device, one or more potential user sessions of interest based on the first search query; receiving, by the computing device, a second search query directed to the content item; and filtering, by the computing device, search results of the second search query based on the one or more potential user sessions of interest to produce filtered search results including one or more content items associated with the session data.

Abstract: A first instance of a response, generated by a user, posted in a first social networking service can be detected. The first instance of the response can respond to a first instance of content shared with the user in the first social networking service. A second instance of the first content being shared with the user in the first social networking service or a second social networking service can be detected. Responsive to detecting the second instance of the first content being shared with the user, a second instance of the response can be automatically posted, the second instance of the response responding to the second instance of the first content on behalf of the user.

Abstract: Methods and systems may provide for detecting a sharing event with respect to an original uniform resource locator (URL) and replacing one or more characters of the original URL with a context attribute of the sharing event to obtain a modified URL. Additionally, a user prompt may be generated, wherein the user prompt includes a recommendation to substitute the modified URL for the original URL. In one example, at least a portion of the context attribute is independent of a web page associated with the original URL.
