  • Patent number: 11986666
Abstract: Illumination devices for impinging light on tissue, for example within a body cavity of a patient, to induce various biological effects are disclosed. Biological effects may include at least one of inactivating and/or inhibiting growth of one or more pathogens, upregulating a local immune response, increasing endogenous stores of nitric oxide, releasing nitric oxide from endogenous stores, and inducing an anti-inflammatory effect. Biological effects may include upregulating and downregulating inflammatory immune response molecules within a target tissue. Wavelengths of light are selected based on intended biological effects for one or more of targeted tissue types and targeted pathogens. Light treatments may provide multiple pathogenic biological effects, either with light of a single wavelength or with light having multiple wavelengths.

  • Patent number: 11916764
Abstract: Disclosed is a technique that can be performed by a server computer system. The technique can include obtaining data from each of multiple endpoint devices to form global data. The global data can be generated by the endpoint devices in accordance with local instructions in each of the endpoint devices. The technique further includes generating global instructions based on the global data and sending the global instructions to a particular endpoint device. The global instructions configure the particular endpoint device to perform a data analytic operation that analyzes events. The events can include raw data generated by a sensor of the particular endpoint device.

  • Patent number: 11874226
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes controlling an instrument to measure a fluorescence emission spectrum of a sample including a first peak emission wavelength and at least a second peak emission wavelength, emitted in response to an excitation wavelength and controlling the instrument to measure an absorbance obtained at the excitation wavelength of the sample. The method may include determining, using the computer, a ratio of the measurements at either the second peak emission wavelength, or a sum of measurements at a plurality of peak emission wavelengths including at least the first peak emission wavelength and the second peak emission wavelength, to the first peak emission wavelength, and calculating, using the computer, a value for a quality parameter based on a combination of at least the ratio and the absorbance measurement.
