  • Publication number: 20260230887
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for MDT measurement and reporting in mixed network deployments. Some aspects specifically relate to optimizing logged MDT measurements in network deployments including NTN cells and TN cells. In some examples, a UE receives, from a network entity, a logged measurement configuration which indicates whether the UE is configured to limit its MDT measurements to NTN cells or TN cells during an MDT session, or whether the UE is not limited and may report measurements for both NTN and TN cells. In some examples, the logged measurement configuration may further indicate, when the UE is not limited in its MDT measurements, whether the NTN cells or the TN cells are prioritized for MDT measurement and reporting. The prioritization may be based on a UE state or capability. In further examples, these aspects may be extended to other network deployments including SONs and SBAs.

  • Patent number: 12684493
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may apply a per chain transmit power split to a cumulative maximum transmit power level (MTPL). The UE may calculate a value associated with a conditional power backoff, wherein the value associated with the conditional power backoff is calculated after the per chain transmit power split is applied to the cumulative MTPL. The UE may transmit, using multiple transmit chains, an uplink signal using a final transmit power level, wherein the final transmit power level is based on a value of the cumulative MTPL after the per chain transmit power split is applied to the cumulative MTPL and the calculated value associated with the conditional power backoff. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Patent number: 12677163
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may support multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) operation in dual SIM dual active (DSDA) deployments. In some aspects, the UE may dynamically allocate its hardware capabilities between a first network subscription and a second network subscription based on current or predicted future network conditions. The UE may predict future network conditions based on past and/or current measurement reports of network conditions. In some aspects, a UE may determine that a first network subscription's hardware capability is better suited to perform one or more network measurements assigned to a second network subscription of the UE. The UE may perform one or more network measurements assigned to the second network subscription via the first network subscription, and then transmit the report to the network via the second network subscription.

  • Patent number: 12526805
Abstract: Systems and methods for improved UL performance with SRS antenna switching are provided. A UE may adjust antenna selections and/or antenna switch timing to account for excessive transmission errors due to antenna switching between SRS and PUSCH transmissions. A UE may monitor CRC error rates, and if PUSCH resources next to SRS resources have higher CRC rates above a threshold, the UE may determine if an RSRP difference between the respective antennas is below a threshold. If the RSRP difference is below the threshold, the UE may determine that the antenna port used for SRS may also be used by PUSCH without substantially detrimentally affecting PUSCH. A UE may also determine which SRS resources occurs adjacent to a PUSCH resource most often and assign that SRS resource to a default antenna which may be used for PUSCH transmission. A UE may also adjust antenna switch timing.

  • Publication number: 20250392997
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may select a first transmit power level associated with a first expected radiation power from antenna(s) of the UE. Selection of the first transmit power level is based at least in part on the first expected radiation power complying with a specific absorption rate (SAR) threshold. The UE may increase the first transmit power level to a second transmit power level associated with a second expected radiation power from the antenna(s) of the UE. The increase to the second transmit power level is based on application of an antenna efficiency metric associated with the antenna(s) of the UE to the second expected radiation power to determine a reduced expected radiation power. The UE may perform transmission(s) from the antenna(s) at the second transmit power level based on the reduced expected radiation power satisfying the SAR threshold.

  • Publication number: 20250390324
Abstract: Embodiments are provided to provide for automated generation of guidance for user navigation of workflows. This guidance is provided as a user exhibits uncertainty with respect to the next step in their navigation, reducing wasted time and computational resources in incorrectly navigating the workflow, repeatedly cycling through portions of the workflow, or cancelling and restarting navigation of the workflow. Records of past navigations of the workflow that match the current navigation are identified and used to determine one or more suggested navigation steps to the user. The suggested step is then indicated to the user within their navigation of the workflow, avoiding waste related to the user changing contexts or otherwise consulting separate tutorial resources. Generating guidance on the fly based on recent workflow navigation steps avoids the computational and memory costs associated with pre-computing guidance across all, or a very large number of, possible navigations of the workflow.
