  • Patent number: 11582751
Abstract: A method of wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes detecting, in response to a bandwidth part (BWP) switch, a first BWP of a first carrier aggregation signal and a second BWP of a second carrier aggregation signal. The first BWP of the first carrier aggregation signal and the second BWP of the second carrier aggregation signal are each within a predetermined frequency range of each other. The method also includes tuning a radio frequency (RF) channel to a center of a wideband channel including the first BWP and the second BWP. The method further includes processing the wideband channel including both the first BWP of the first carrier aggregation signal and the second BWP of the second carrier aggregation signal with a single phase locked loop (PLL).

  • Publication number: 20220415179
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a mobile station may transmit, to a controller, a request to join a platoon. The mobile station may receive, from the controller, a confirmation that the mobile station has joined the platoon. The confirmation may further indicate an assignment of the mobile station to a sub-platoon within the platoon. Accordingly, the mobile station may transmit a handshake to, or receiving a handshake from, a primary anchor device associated with the platoon. The mobile station may additionally transmit a handshake to, or receiving a handshake from, a secondary anchor device associated with the sub-platoon. The sub-platoon may divide and reassemble based at least in part on one or more environmental conditions. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Publication number: 20220417853
Abstract: During a positioning session, a wake up signal (WUS) configuration for a user equipment (UE) operating in a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode may be adapted to avoid dormant secondary serving cells (SCells) for positioning. The location server, for example, may configure positioning assistance data and scheduling of uplink sounding reference signals (SRS) to exclude SCells that are included in a dormancy list for the UE. The location server, alternatively, may provide to a serving base station supporting a primary serving cell (PCell) for the UE an indication of the SCells to be used for positioning. The SCells may be removed from the dormancy list during the positioning session or may be brought out of dormancy for all or selected monitoring occasions during the positioning session.

  • Patent number: 11501646
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for coordinating vehicle platooning with V2X assistance. The techniques generally include: a first vehicle associated with a source UE transmitting a request to a base station to join a vehicle platoon. The request indicates at least one of: an occupancy parameter of a first vehicle associated with the source UE; an autonomy level of the first vehicle; or a travel preference parameter. The occupancy parameter may include a number of passengers, seating positions of passengers, and other occupancy information pertaining safety and prioritization. The autonomy level enables vehicles of similar autonomy to form a platoon that optimizes headways, thus minimizing fuel consumption due to air resistance. The travel preference parameter may include a preferred speed of the source UE. The source UE may receive a response message indicating confirmation that the first vehicle is allowed to join the vehicle platoon.

  • Publication number: 20220356147
Abstract: Infections caused by multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria, particularly Gram-negative bacteria, are an escalating global t health threat. Often clinicians are forced to administer the last resort antibiotic colistin, however colistin resistance is becoming increasingly prevalent, giving rise to the potential for a situation in which there are no treatment options for MDR Gram-negative infections. The development of adjuvants that circumvent bacterial resistance mechanisms is a promising orthogonal approach to the development of new antibiotics. We recently disclosed that the known IKK-13 inhibitor IMD-0354 potently suppresses colistin resistance in several Gram-negative strains. In this disclosure, we explore the structure activity relationship (SAR) between the IMD-0354 scaffold and colistin resistance suppression, and identify several compounds with more potent activity than the parent against highly colistin resistant strains of Acinetobacter baumannii and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
