Abstract: A negative pressure source can be fluidically connected to the wound dressing, the wound dressing can be positioned to cover at least a portion of the wound, and the negative pressure source can be controlled to supply negative pressure to the wound via the fluid flow path. An actuator of the negative pressure source can be controlled to operate in a dual mode by transitioning between a proportional-integral (PI) control or proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control and a pulsed control. Stalling of the actuator can be prevented, and therapy can be provided without interruptions.

  • Publication number: 20250143783
Abstract: The invention relates to an ablation catheter for treatment of a patient's tissue, for example for a PVI procedure on a patient's heart, comprising an elongated catheter shaft and an ablation portion being arranged at a distal end of the catheter shaft with a plurality of electrodes accommodated along the ablation portion, wherein the ablation portion comprises at least two loop sections forming a three-dimensional spiral. In order to increase safety of ablation treatment, spare adjacent tissue (e.g. nerves, vessels, esophagus) and shorten ablation time, a pitch, or clearance of two neighboring loop sections is greater than an ionization threshold of the medium around the distal section, for example blood or gases resulted from electrolysis. The invention further relates to an operation method of such ablation catheter.

  • Publication number: 20250146431
Abstract: An engine brake reset valve includes a cylindrical housing body having an end and a central cavity therein. The reset valve includes a first valve part attached to a second valve part, wherein the central cavity is sized to receive the first valve part and the second valve part. The first and second valve parts are movable within the central cavity between open and closed positions. When the second valve part is in a closed position, the second valve part engages and blocks the central orifice to prevent fluid pressure from entering the central orifice.
