  • Patent number: 6175502
Abstract: An equipment arrangement for switch, computer and server cabinets or racks comprises a monitor/flat screen, a keyboard and a signal switch in a common slide-in module or in two individual slide-in modules. The monitor/flat screen can be pivoted up or folded out in an extracted operating position. In the case of a module having one height unit of the 19 inch design the signal switch is positioned between the keyboard and the monitor/flat screen. In the case of a common module with a height of approximately two height units or two separate modules having in each case a maximum height of one height unit, the keyboard and signal switch are located in one plane and above the latter is located a monitor/flat screen.

  • Patent number: 5993712
Abstract: The invention concerns a method of processing polymer blends based on polyester or polyamide with a draw-off speed of .gtoreq.1500 m/min to produce filaments with an elongation at break of .ltoreq.180%, where a second amorphous polymer is added to the polyester or polyamide in the amount of 0.05 to 5 wt % and the polymer is a copolymer composed of at least two of the following monomer units:0 to 90 wt % A, wherein A is a monomer of formula CH.sub.2 .dbd.C(R)--COOR.sup.1, wherein R is --H or --CH.sub.3 and R.sup.1 is straight or branched chain C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl or cyclohexyl.0 to 40 wt % B, wherein B is a monomer of maleic acid or maleic anhydride, and5 to 85 wt % C, wherein C is a monomer of styrene or methyl substituted styrene such that (wt % A+wt % B+wt % C)=100, and these filaments are processed by a drawing process or a stretch texturing process at high speeds. Preferably R.sup.1 is methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, n-butyl, iso-butyl, 2-ethyl-butyl, 2-ethyl hexyl, n-hexyl, n-heptyl, or cyclohexyl.

  • Patent number: 5962131
Abstract: Process for the production of preoriented filaments from polyester-based polymer mixtures by spinning the polymer mixtures with a draw-off speed v of at least 2500 m/min, a second amorphous, thermoplastically processable copolymer having a glass transition temperature of more than 100.degree. C. being added to the polyester, wherein the ratio of the melt viscosity of the copolymer to the melt viscosity of the polyester is 1:1 to 10:1, in that the amount of copolymer added to the polyester is at least 0.05 wt.
