  • Publication number: 20070223294
Abstract: A computer system comprising a control logic and a storage coupled to the control logic. The storage comprises a plurality of bitcells and bitlines used to transfer data between the control logic and the bitcells. The control logic provides an address of a target bitcell to the storage. Within a single clock cycle, the storage uses the address to activate the target bitcell, to precharge bitlines coupled to the target bitcell, and to access the target bitcell.

  • Publication number: 20070046362
Abstract: A device for adaptively controlling a voltage supplied to circuitry in close proximity to the device, comprising a processing module and a first tracking element coupled to the processing module. The first tracking element produces a first value indicative of a first estimated speed associated with the circuitry. The device also comprises a second tracking element coupled to the processing module. The second tracking element produces a second value indicative of a second estimated speed associated with the circuitry. The processing module compares each of the first and second values to respective target values and causes a voltage output to be adjusted based on the comparisons. The first and second tracking elements comprise a plurality of transistors, at least some of the transistors selectively provided with a transistor bias voltage to adjust transistor speed.

  • Publication number: 20060175606
Abstract: A system and method for enabling a device to function at a subthreshold voltage level of the device is provided. Generally, the system contains a subthreshold data memory capable of functioning when a supply voltage is within the subthreshold voltage level of the device. The system also contains control logic and a read only memory capable of functioning when the supply voltage is within the subthreshold voltage level of the device.

  • Publication number: 20050194592
Abstract: A device for adaptively controlling a voltage supplied to circuitry in substantially close proximity to the device, comprising a processing module, a first tracking element coupled to the processing module and producing a first value indicative of a first estimated speed associated with the circuitry, and a second tracking element coupled to the processing module and producing a second value indicative of a second estimated speed associated with the circuitry. The processing module compares each of the first and second values to a target value and causes a voltage output to be adjusted based on said comparison.

  • Patent number: 6728753
Abstract: A system and method for broadcasting a presentation over a computer network to an online audience. The system comprises an integrated environment that leverages many of the features of Microsoft Corporation's NETSHOW™ server technology, along with Microsoft Corporation's POWERPOINT 2000™ presentation design application program to enable a presenter to broadcast a presentation to an online audience over a computer network, such as an intranet or the Internet. The system enables a live presentation comprising a plurality of presentation slides, and audio and optionally, a visual content to be broadcast to a plurality of receiving computers over a network so that the presentation slides are displayed and the audio and visual content are replicated on the receiving computers synchronized with the presentation slides, just as in the live presentation. Preferably, the plurality of presentation slides are sent as HTML files via the computer network in advance of the start of the presentation.

  • Publication number: 20030039893
Abstract: A method for forming small repeating structures, such as contact holes, is disclosed. The method comprises using a phase shift mask to perform a first exposure of a photoresist layer formed atop of a substrate. The phase shift mask includes etched regions and unetched regions. Next, the position of the phase shift mask is adjusted relative to the photoresist layer. A second exposure through the adjusted phase shift mask is performed on the photoresist layer. The photoresist is developed and is used as a mask for etching the substrate. After etch, the photoresist is stripped and cleaned. The resulted small sub-wavelength pattern is formed from the disclosed technique.

  • Publication number: 20020188682
Abstract: A method and system for manufacturing a supply chain collaboration is disclosed, the method and system comprising at least one customer including a first collaboration platform and at least one manufacturing partner (vendor) including a second collaboration platform. All CMS applications allow for peer-peer collaboration therebetween. A system and method in accordance with the present invention utilizes peer-to-peer technology to securely and reliably transfer the data between the companies and promotes a “push” mechanism where information is shared as soon as it becomes available.

  • Publication number: 20020162077
Abstract: An integrated circuit chip design system for a design hierarchy is disclosed. The chip design is provided by a plurality of design blocks. The system comprises version and access control which controls the design hierarchy. The system further includes an in-synchronization hierarchy display responsive to the version and access control which illustrates the design hierarchy based upon an ownership of the plurality of design blocks within the hierarchy. A system and method in accordance with the present invention can help designers to control the design process, can automatically highlight design dependency change, and can minimize human mistakes.
