  • Patent number: 9536000
Abstract: A profile prediction system may identify one of multiple user profiles for a single computer. For example, a home computer may have multiple users that may not be targeted unless the user on the home computer can be identified. The system's user identification may be based on a clustering model that considers various browsing characteristics to identify different clusters that each correspond to a particular user or user profile. The model may be generated and refined by tracking web browsing over multiple sessions. Future activity on the computer may be used to identify which user is the source of the activity and the user may receive targeted content including advertisements.

  • Publication number: 20160379410
Abstract: A method for operating an augmented reality system includes acquiring video data from a camera sensor or video file, and identifying at least one region of interest within the video data. Augmented reality data is generated for the region of interest without receiving user input, with the augmented reality data being contextually related to the region of interest. The video data may be displayed with the augmented reality data superimposed thereupon in real time as the video data is acquired from the camera sensor or video file. The video data and the augmented reality data are stored in a non-conflated fashion. The video data may be displayed with updated AR content acquired for stored AR metadata during later playback. The method therefore allows the storage of AR ROI's and data from any suitable sensor as metadata, so that later retrieval is possible in the absence of additional processing.

  • Publication number: 20160358804
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to processing chamber seasoning layers having a graded composition. In one example, the seasoning layer is a boron-carbon-nitride (BCN) film. The BCN film may have a greater composition of boron at the base of the film. As the BCN film is deposited, the boron concentration may approach zero, while the relative carbon and nitrogen concentration increases. The BCN film may be deposited by initially co-flowing a boron precursor, a carbon precursor, and a nitrogen precursor. After a first period of time, the flow rate of the boron precursor may be reduced. As the flow rate of boron precursor is reduced, RF power may be applied to generate a plasma during deposition of the seasoning layer.

  • Publication number: 20160357739
Abstract: In certain embodiments, techniques are provided (e.g., a method, a system, non-transitory computer-readable medium storing code or instructions executable by one or more processors) to provide data visualization and management services for files stored in a cloud storage system. In some embodiments, a tenant (e.g., an end user, customer, or subscriber to a cloud storage service) can view how their data is stored across data centers within a cloud storage service. A cloud file manager can analyze the tenant's data stored in the cloud storage service, and generate a data visualization interface that provides a fine grained visual representation of the tenant's data across the cloud storage service. In some embodiments, the tenant can define storage profiles and/or modify existing data storage locations dynamically through the data visualization interface. This simplifies data management for the tenants and provides increased flexibility of managing data in the cloud storage service.

  • Patent number: 9491090
Abstract: In some embodiments, a switch module is configured to receive from a first edge device a multicast data unit having a VLAN identifier. The switch module is configured to select a set of port modules based on the VLAN identifier. The switch module is configured to define an unmodified instance of the multicast data unit for each port module from the set of port modules. The switch module is configured to send the unmodified instance of the multicast data unit to each port module from the set of port modules, such that each port module applies a filter to the received instance of the multicast data unit to restrict that received instance of the multicast data unit from being sent to a second edge device via that port module if the second edge device is associated with a VLAN domain different than a VLAN domain of the first edge device.
