Abstract: Systems, methods, and software to manage the distribution of video data for processing across multiple computers. In at least one implementation, a management service obtains resource usage associated with video processing computers, wherein each of the video processing computers manages video processing of video data associated with one or more cameras. The management service further identifies trends based on the resource usage and, for at least a first video processing computer, generates a processing schedule for first video processing computer to distribute the video processing to one or more other video processing computers. The management service also configures the first video processing computer with the video processing schedule.

  • Patent number: 11999382
Abstract: In one or more embodiments, a method comprises receiving, at a processor, an input signal from an input device in response to a first actuation of the input device by a driver of an autonomous vehicle. The input device is a device disposed with the autonomous vehicle and has a second actuation of the input device associated with a standard operation of the input device. The second actuation has an actuation pattern different from an actuation pattern of the first actuation. In response to the input signal, a determination is made by the processor to determine whether the autonomous vehicle can perform a maneuver safely. In response to determining that the autonomous vehicle can perform the maneuver safely, a signal is sent by the processor to cause the autonomous vehicle to perform the maneuver.

  • Patent number: 12001532
Abstract: An electronic device includes a memory storing a plurality of fingerprint reference data files. One or more sensors identify whether a mechanical support condition of the electronic device is a hand supported condition or a surface supported condition. A fingerprint sensor receives fingerprint data. One or more processors select a prioritized fingerprint data reference file from the plurality of fingerprint reference data files as a function of the mechanical support condition and authenticate an authorized user of the electronic device by comparing the fingerprint data to the prioritized fingerprint data reference file before comparing the fingerprint data to another fingerprint reference data file of the plurality of fingerprint reference data files. The fingerprint sensor can be situated on a minor surface of the electronic device, on a rear major surface in a central location, on the rear major surface in an edge location, or in other locations.

  • Patent number: 12002285
Abstract: One or more sensors of an electronic device detect a geometric form factor of the electronic device. A fingerprint sensor situated beneath a first display of the electronic device receives fingerprint data. One or more processors authenticate an authorized user of the electronic device using the fingerprint data with one or more processors. The one or more processors select between the first display and a second display of the electronic device as a function of the geometric form factor and unlock the selected display in response to authenticating the authorized user of the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20240173537
Abstract: A disinfection device for disinfecting a female medical connector. The device includes an inner housing having an absorbent material that includes a disinfectant or antimicrobial agent that receives the connector. The device also includes an outer housing having an outer wall that receives the inner housing wherein the inner housing is rotatable within the outer housing. An indicator is located between the outer wall and a transparent collar that includes at least one rib. The indicator includes a first visual indicator and a second visual indicator concealed by the first visual indicator. The inner housing includes a boss element that extends through the outer wall and indicator and is attached to the collar. Rotation of the collar causes rotation of the absorbent material and causes the rib to remove sufficient portions of the indicator to expose the second visual indicator to provide visual indication that the connector is disinfected.

  • Publication number: 20240173538
Abstract: A disinfection cap or device for disinfecting medical connectors. The cap includes a visual indicator that changes color after sufficient scrubbing effort and time have been expended by a clinician to disinfect the medical device, giving positive visual feedback to the treating clinician. An external housing of the cap includes a disinfection medium, such as a disinfectant sponge that is coupled to a rotating collar. The housing is oriented so that the sponge contacts the medical device to be cleaned. Collar rotation in turn rotates the disinfectant sponge against the VAD, providing scrubbing action. A visualization chamber within the cap contains two isolated fluids of distinct colors. As the collar is rotated it mixes the two isolated fluids, changing color of the resultant mixture. When the visualization chamber shows the new, mixed third color, the medical device is disinfected.

  • Publication number: 20240168281
Abstract: In an aspect of the present invention, a new active optic is provided, namely, a photo-magnetically actuated deformable mirror (PMADM) made of a magnetic composite structure and an optical quality substrate layer. The magnetic layer is composed of Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and powdered ferromagnetic CrO2. A magnet may be used to deform the mirror surface. The powdered CrO2 has a low Curie temperature (preferably around 395 K) which allows changing the magnetization of the magnetic layer using a laser heating source, thus providing control over the deformation. In one embodiment, the structure has an overall dimension of 1.2 inch 1.2 inch 175 ?m with an optical pupil diameter of 8 mm. The PMADM is estimated to deform to a maximum stroke of 8.7731 ?m before failure with a 3 safety factor.

  • Patent number: 11989310
Abstract: Methods, systems, and techniques for facilitating identification of electronic data exfiltration. A message transmission log and screenshot metadata are obtained. A screenshot corresponding to the screenshot metadata is matched to a sent electronic message, such as an email, having a file attachment represented in the message transmission log to generate an event. The screenshot metadata indicates that the screenshot was captured prior to when the message transmission log indicates the electronic message was sent. An anomaly score is determined for the sent electronic message is determined by applying unsupervised machine learning, such as by applying an isolation forest, to score the sent electronic message relative to a baseline. The anomaly score meeting or exceeding an anomaly threshold is treated as potentially being indicative of electronic data exfiltration.

  • Patent number: 11984998
Abstract: Techniques for selective video conference segmentation are described and are implementable in a video conference setting. The described implementations enable control over segments of video content that are viewable by a given participant in a video conference. For instance, segments of video content are generated that represent spatial portions of video content captured by a host device. The segments can be configured in a variety of ways for inclusion in one or more video streams. The video streams can be communicated to different participants within the video conference, for instance based on a status of a given participant, thus providing different fields of view to different participants.
