  • Publication number: 20250093780
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to optical devices, and more specifically, protective coatings for optical devices and methods for preparing protective coatings on optical devices and other devices. In one or more embodiments, a method for protecting a photoresist on a workpiece is provided and includes depositing a photoresist layer on a first surface of a substrate, and depositing a protective coating on the photoresist layer disposed on the first surface, wherein the protective coating contains a water-soluble polymeric material. Thereafter, the method includes exposing a second surface of the substrate to one or more fabrication processes, where the first surface is covered by the photoresist layer and the protective coating, and the second surface is uncovered. Thereafter, the method further includes removing the protective coating by at least partially dissolving the water-soluble polymeric material with a removal solution containing water or an aqueous solution.

  • Publication number: 20250097564
Abstract: An electronic device, a method and a computer program product for integrating a non-contemporaneously captured image of a person to a device captured image. The method includes detecting, via a processor, activation of a camera to capture an image and identifying a first individual within a first preliminary image. The method further includes determining if a second individual is missing from the first preliminary image based on a comparison of individuals identified within the first preliminary image to a group of individuals that are normally associated with the first individual. In response to determining that the second individual is absent or missing from the first preliminary image, the method further includes presenting on a display a graphical user interface that contains a user-selectable option to enable a missing image mode to electronically add an image of the missing second individual to the captured image.

  • Publication number: 20250087002
Abstract: Retailers need information about their competitor's pricing and promotions and marketing collaterals are one of the most vital sources of this information. Conventional approaches for extracting product names from marketing collaterals depends on large volume of data repositories and complex machine learning based approaches. The present disclosure extracts product name blocks from marketing collaterals using image processing techniques. The inputs to the present disclosure are seed words and the marketing collateral. A plurality of word level text regions from the image and text value are obtained. Further, a plurality of text characteristics corresponding to each of the plurality of word level text regions are extracted and matching seed word regions are obtained. Further a plurality of meaningful text blocks and a plurality of seed blocks are obtained. Finally, a plurality of product names are extracted using a matrix based product name detection technique and updated in the product dictionary.

  • Publication number: 20250086735
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, devices, and computer program products are described. A system may support a machine learning model for legal clause extraction. The machine learning model may receive, as an input, at least a portion of a document and may output an indication of one or more legal clauses included in the document. To train the model, the system may receive a document and an indication of ground truths (e.g., legal clauses) for the document. The system may determine one-to-one mappings between the legal clauses indicated by the ground truths and the legal clauses indicated by the output of the machine learning model. The system may perform a longest common substring analysis on the one-to-one mappings to determine an accuracy of the machine learning model and may iteratively update the model based on the analysis.

  • Publication number: 20250085532
Abstract: An electronic device includes a wireless communication device, a non-transient memory device, and one or more processors operable with the wireless communication device and the non-transient memory device. The one or more processors identify a companion device electronically in communication with the wireless communication device as being a wearable glass projection device when a received extended display identification (EDID) extension(s) from the companion device include a non-zero field of view, pixel density, and/or interpupillary distance value. The one or more processors can render content for the wearable glass projection device as a function of the non-zero field of view, pixel density, and/or interpupillary distance value, and can optionally apply a rendering adjustment to the content as a function of optical data associated with a user of the electronic device stored in the non-transient memory device.

  • Patent number: 12248845
Abstract: A computing device includes multiple camera systems each having one or both of a different field of view or a focus range. For example, the computing device may include a telephoto camera system, a wide angle camera system, an ultra-wide angle camera system, and a macro camera system. When a camera application is running, the scenes from each of the multiple cameras are automatically analyzed to determine whether a barcode (e.g., a 1-dimensional barcode or a 2-dimensional barcode, also referred to as a QR code) is included in one of the scenes. If a barcode is included in the scene from a particular camera system, that camera system is selected and one or more actions are taken (e.g., the barcode is displayed by the computing device, information embedded in the barcode is displayed, and so forth).

  • Patent number: 12250133
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for detecting timestamp discontinuities and video resolution discontinuities within a packet stream and marking locations of the detected discontinuities within the packet stream are described. Prior to transmission of the packet stream, an electronic device may perform timestamp discontinuity detection by acquiring a sequence of packets to be transmitted, identifying a first timestamp associated with an earliest packet within the sequence of packets, identifying a second timestamp associated with a latest packet within the sequence of packets, determining a timestamp time difference between the first timestamp and the second timestamp, determining a maximum chunk time difference based on a data rate at which the sequence of packets were encoded and a data size of the encoded packets, and detecting that a timestamp discontinuity exists within the sequence of packets if the timestamp time difference is greater than the maximum chunk time difference.
