  • Patent number: 10153754
Abstract: A synchronous retention flip-flop circuit includes a first circuit module powered by an interruptible power source and a second circuit module powered by a permanent power source. The first circuit module includes a first latch circuit and a second latch circuit which are configured to store at least one datum while the interruptible power source is supplying power. A transmission circuit operates to deliver the at least one datum to the second circuit module before an interruption of the interruptible power source. The second circuit module preserves the at least one datum during the interruption. Following an end of the interruption, a restoring circuit transfers the at least one datum from the second circuit module to the first circuit module via a single one of the first and second latch circuits.

  • Patent number: 9911889
Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present invention may be directed to a transistor structure. The transistor structure may include a semiconductor substrate. The semiconductor substrate may include a drift region, a collector region, an emitter region, and a lightly-doped/undoped region. The lightly-doped/undoped region may be lightly-doped and/or undoped. The transistor structure may also include a heterostructure. The heterostructure forms a heterojunction with the lightly-doped/undoped region. The transistor structure may also include a collector terminal. The collector terminal is in contact with the collector region. The transistor structure may also include a gate terminal. The gate terminal is in contact with the heterostructure. The transistor structure may also include an emitter terminal. The emitter terminal is in contact with the lightly-doped/undoped region and the emitter region.

  • Patent number: 9883101
Abstract: A 360 degree panorama can capture a view of a real world environment. The view can be a 360 panorama which can conform to a stereographic projection. The capturing can be performed by a one shot panoramic video capture device lacking a display. A 360 degree arc frame can be analyzed to determine a one-to-one mapping to a target projection. The target projection can be a cylindrical or an equirectangular projection. The stereographic projection can be mapped to the target projection in real-time without performing a digital stitching operation within the device. Distortion in the target projection resulting from the mapping can be corrected. The target projection can be conveyed in real-time wirelessly to a display of a communicatively linked computing device.

  • Patent number: 9877054
Abstract: In example embodiments, a system and method for dynamically scheduling advertising is provided. For example, an advertisement order that describes an advertising campaign in logical terms is received. Stored data of statistically sampled metrics associated with previously distributed programs may be accessed. Based on the stored data and requirements indicated in the advertisement order, the logical terms of the advertising campaign may be translated into physical parameters adapted to facilitate placement of advertisements into an advertising schedule. The physical parameters of the advertising campaign may be provided to a device for creating the advertising schedule.

  • Patent number: 9860444
Abstract: A stereographic image associated with a panoramic camera can be identified. The panoramic camera can include of a set of lenses and an image sensor. A pixel degradation curve associated with the image and/or the hardware of the panoramic camera can be determined, as can a sensor geometry of an image sensor used by the panoramic camera. A fixed smoothing function based on the pixel degradation curve and/or the sensor geometry can be created. The fixed smoothing function can be applied to a stereographic image to modify the image so it includes substantially uniform image detail per image region.

  • Patent number: 9857570
Abstract: A reflector can have a conical shape. The shape can tapers from a wide base to an apex. The apex can include an aperture, a mirror, and a set of one or more optical elements. A mirror is location in a cavity and is positioned within an overhang enclosure of the device in a plane approximately parallel to a circular cross section of the conical shape. The mirror can reflect environmental light that is reflected by the reflector into the aperture or reflect light emitting from the aperture onto the reflector. Stray light reflected by the mirror is absorbed by the cavity walls. A set of one or more optical elements can be positioned at least partially within a volumetric region of the reflector. The one or more optical elements focus light passing through the aperture to an image sensor.
