Abstract: Aspects of a method and system for implementing redundancy for streaming data in audio video bridging networks are provided. Network resources may be reserved over a plurality of network paths. Reserved resources may be utilized for the transmission and/or reception of a corresponding plurality of data streams, wherein one or more of the streams may comprise redundant data. A plurality of data streams may be transmitted and/or received by a plurality of network interface hardware devices. Similarly, a plurality of data streams may be transmitted and/or received by a plurality of ports integrated into a single network interface hardware device. Each of the plurality of data streams may be assigned a unique identifier and the identifier of a first data stream may differ by one bit from an identifier of a data stream comprising data redundant to the first data stream.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for performing static analysis optimization in a design verification system is described. In one example, a description of a verification environment having constrained objects is obtained. The constrained objects are analyzed incrementally to create a data structure of nodes. Each node includes a description of variables transitively connected by constraints. At least one of the nodes reuses a description from at least one other node. The data structure is then used during logic design verification.

The information sent over the designated application channel to the display is displayed on the first display window while simultaneously displaying one of the TV programming channels on the second display window. Abstract: Automatically determining values for fields in an electronic document. In one embodiment, an intelligent form filler automatically fills in at least some of the fields based on as set of rules associated with a domain. A particular set of domain rules may have class definitions that define how to classify a field for that domain and group definitions that define how to group fields. The domain rules also describe how values can be determined for the fields, based on the classifications, groupings, and other factors. In one embodiment, the intelligent form filler submits more than one form such that different combinations of values are submitted. The values that were used to fill in the form(s) may be provided to an extraction tool, which use the values to facilitate extraction of information from a document returned in response to submitting the form.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for stabilization and fusion of adjacent bone segments. Also disclosed are methods for manufacturing a surgical bone implant. Surgical bone implants constructed in accordance with the invention receive improved structural stability and accurate sizing, particularly under expansion and shrinkage caused by hydration and dehydration of the implant.

Abstract: An inversion of the basic format of searching is provided herein. Instead of receiving a search query and providing web page results, a search engine receives a web page identifier as search input from an end user, determines related search queries for the associated web page, and provides the related search queries to the end user issuing the search. Related search queries for web pages may also be used to refine search engines performing the basic form of searching by facilitating the determination of web pages to index and the ranking of web pages as search results to user queries. Additionally, related search queries may be used in advertising revenue generation and sharing.

Abstract: A device is provided that is capable of being mounted on both sides of an injured joint to immobilize the joint, typically as a means of providing emergency care to a patient. The inventive device has plates that are pivotally attached to each other so that the device can be placed against the patient's body and secured to body parts that are on opposing sides of the injured joint, without substantially moving the injured joint. In this manner, additional trauma, pain and/or injury to the patient is avoided or minimized while emergency care is being provided. According to one aspect of the invention, the apparatus has a first plate adapted for engaging a limb of the body, and a second plate adapted for engaging a body part to which the limb is connected via the injured joint. The first plate has a first end portion, and the second plate has a second end portion. The apparatus also has a lockable joint connecting the first end portion of the first plate and the second end portion of the second plate.

Abstract: A system and method for using annotations to automatically generate a framework for a custom JavaServer Faces (JSF) component is provided. Source code for a custom JSF Component class may be received, where the received source code may include annotations indicating how a declared element should be processed. For example, based on a type of annotation in the source code, the framework for the custom JSF component may be automatically generated, where the generated framework can include implementations for a Component class, a Tag Handler class, a Renderer class, a Tag Library Descriptor, a faces-config.xml file, tag unit test cases, or any other aspect of a custom JSF component. Thus, reusable, reliable, and readable custom JSF components may be easily developed at a substantially reduced development cost.

A distribution station receives signals from the broadcaster, and cumulatively renders second animated objects in response to second locked graphic data and second unlocked metadata, the latter of which is modified in response to distributor data. A television receives signals from the distributor, and cumulatively renders third animated objects in response to third locked graphic data and third unlocked metadata, which is modified in response to viewer data.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving label data that indicates all interface labels that belong to each path ID of multiple path IDs associated with corresponding multiple paths between provider edge nodes in a Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network. Each interface label is associated with a network interface on a node in the MPLS network. Based on the label data, an untested list that holds data that indicates all unique interface labels is generated. A tested interface selected from the untested list is scheduled for testing. After scheduling, the interface label of the tested interface is removed from the untested list. It is determined whether the untested list still includes data for at least one interface label. If not, then a test of the MPLS network is completed without testing every path end to end, thus conserving network resources.

Abstract: A method of forming a pre-metal dielectric film having good as deposited gapfill characteristics, as well as good mobile-ion gettering capability. The method involves first depositing a layer of high-ozone undoped silicon dioxide film having a high ozone/TEOS volume ratio. Then, a low-ozone doped BPSG film is deposited over the high-ozone undoped silicon dioxide layer. The film layers are heat treated to densify the film, and then the top layer is planarized using known planarization techniques to a thickness that allows for adequate mobile-ion gettering.
