  • Patent number: 9373338
Abstract: An automatic speech recognition engine receives an acoustic-echo processed signal from an acoustic-echo processing (AEP) module, where said echo processed signal contains mainly the speech from the near-end talker. The automatic speech recognition engine analyzes the content of the acoustic-echo processed signal to determine whether words or keywords are present. Based upon the results of this analysis, the automatic speech recognition engine produces a value reflecting the likelihood that some words or keywords are detected. Said value is provided to the AEP module. Based upon the value, the AEP module determines if there is double talk and processes the incoming signals accordingly to enhance its performance.

  • Patent number: 9373097
Abstract: A system and method for tracking passengers during travel events and generating alerts if rules for those travel events are violated includes readers, which are installed in vehicles and obtain location data from one or more positioning systems. As passengers enter or exit the vehicles, the passengers swipe access cards in the readers. The readers then tag passenger identity information with the obtained location data. This information is then transmitted to a monitoring system, which generates rules for each of the travel event of the passengers. During the travel events, the received location data and time information is analyzed and to determine if any of the vehicles are violating the generated rules. The monitoring system generates alerts if any of the generated rules are violated.

  • Patent number: 9374469
Abstract: Devices and methods are provided for implementing a network resource management system that reduces network signaling traffic through a network. A network server utilizing a communication signaling protocol is configured with functionality that reduces call set-up signaling traffic. Instead of exchanging communication signaling protocol related signaling between a calling end user device and a destination end user device when attempting to set up the call, the disclosed examples provide for determining a call status of the destination end user device before sending any communication signaling protocol related messages to the destination end user device. If the destination end user device is unavailable or is on another call, the network server uses communication signaling protocol related messages to connect the calling end user device with a voice mail server related to the destination end user device and foregoes sending communication signaling protocol related messages to the destination end user device.

  • Patent number: 9373094
Abstract: A Dynamic Web Service server may facilitate custom Enterprise Application interface development with little or no developer input by dynamically creating a web service for performing a particular transaction according to a transaction map. An Enterprise Application client device may create a transaction map by “recording” a transaction between an Enterprise Application client and an Enterprise Application server and mapping transaction fields to a custom interface generated to collect data for re-performing the recorded transaction. The Enterprise Application client device may call the dynamic web service, and the Dynamic Web Service server may then perform the recorded transaction using input data collected in the custom interface.

  • Publication number: 20160173598
Abstract: Methods, computing systems and computer program products implement embodiments of the present invention that include configuring multiple servers coupled to a network as a software defined storage (SDS) grid. A first given server receives, via the network, an input/output (I/O) request from a host computer, and determines a location of data associated with the I/O request. In some embodiments, each of the servers maintains a local grid data map that store locations for all data managed by the SDS grid. Upon identifying, in its respective local grid data map, that a second given server is configured to process the I/O request, the first given server forwards the I/O request to the second given server for processing, and upon receiving a result of the I/O request from the second given server, the first given server conveys the result of the I/O request to the host computer.
