  • Patent number: 12100290
Abstract: A method includes transmitting, by a set of drive-sense circuits of a plurality of drive-sense circuits of a test system, a set of electrode signals on a set of test container electrodes of a test container of a test container array of the test system. The test container contains a content. The method further includes generating, by the set of drive-sense circuits, a set of sensed signals. The method further includes interpreting, by a processing module of the test system, the set of sensed signals as a plurality of impedance values and generating an impedance map based on the plurality of impedance values and with respect to positioning of the set of test container electrodes. The impedance map is representative of electrical characteristics of the content.

  • Patent number: 12097499
Abstract: An embodiment of a system includes a compartment-generating device, a compartment detector, and electronic computing circuitry. The device is configured to generate compartments of a digital assay, at least one of the compartments having a respective volume that is different from a respective volume of each of at least another one of the compartments. The detector is configured to determine a number of the compartments each having a respective number of a target that is greater than a threshold number of the target. And the electronic circuitry is configured to determine a bulk concentration of the target in a source of the sample in response to the determined number of compartments. Because such a system can be configured to estimate a bulk concentration of a target in a source from a polydisperse digital assay, the system can be portable, and lower-cost and faster, than conventional systems.

  • Patent number: 12092452
Abstract: Described herein is a magnetic dendrometer having a frame, a spring-tension mechanism, and a magnet for moving together with the spring-tension mechanism. A magnetic sensor is attached to the frame. The magnetic sensor senses the linear motion of the magnet. This linear motion translates to trackable fluctuations in magnetic field. The magnetic fluctuations are converted to electrical signals by the magnetic sensor. A spring is attached to a free-floating wishbone-style component. The free-floating wishbone-style component is coupled to a slider which has an adjustable, single-contact point with a target (e.g., a vine, a branch, etc.). The frame is a stationary frame that carries the magnetic sensor. The frame connected via the spring to the wishbone/slider combination cooperates with each other for providing linear motion to extend or contract the spring in length directions. The length variations of the dendrometer spring are converted to linear motion of the magnet and then into electronic signals.

  • Patent number: 12088999
Abstract: The present document describes a textile-assembly toolkit for reversible assembly of a textile to an electronic-speaker device. The toolkit includes multiple attachment features, including rigid features with matched purposefully-designed knit types that can be combined to enable repeatable, mass-producible, reversible assembly of the textile to the electronic-speaker device. The techniques described herein enable accurate alignment of the textile on the electronic-speaker device without distorting the textile's cosmetic pattern and in a manner that results in no visible edges of the textile or visible attachment features on the exterior of the electronic-speaker device. Also, the textile-assembly toolkit includes attachment features that secure the textile with sufficient tension to avoid acoustic distortion such as rub and buzz.

  • Publication number: 20240282202
Abstract: A method for establishing a flight plan for an aircraft by: determining a correction factor F1 related to a degradation in performance of the aircraft; using, to establish the flight plan, a model of the aircraft that incorporates a lower heating value of a reference fuel; obtaining a correction factor F2 related to a difference in lower heating value between the reference fuel and a fuel intended to be used to follow the flight plan; modifying the correction factor F1 by adding the correction factor F2; and determining the flight plan using the model of the aircraft, to which the modified correction factor F1 is given at input. It is thus possible to use an aircraft model in which the lower heating value is fixed internally.

  • Patent number: 12067499
Abstract: This disclosure describes one or more implementations of a video inference system that utilizes machine-learning models to efficiently and flexibly process digital videos utilizing various improved video inference architectures. For example, the video inference system provides a framework for improving digital video processing by increasing the efficiency of both central processing units (CPUs) and graphics processing units (GPUs). In one example, the video inference system utilizes a first video inference architecture to reduce the number of computing resources needed to inference digital videos by analyzing multiple digital videos utilizing sets of CPU/GPU containers along with parallel pipeline processing. In a further example, the video inference system utilizes a second video inference architecture that facilitates multiple CPUs to preprocess multiple digital videos in parallel as well as a GPU to continuously, sequentially, and efficiently inference each of the digital videos.
