  • Publication number: 20160004933
Abstract: An evaluation system for determination of cardiovascular function parameters is provided. The evaluation system includes a data reading module, an image generating module, a contour determination module, an active contour module, a geometric center axis computing module, a view angle selection module and a function evaluation module. After reading cardiovascular graphic files with the data reading module, the image generating module displays 2D images or a 3D image constructed from the 2D images. Then, active contours are generated by the contour determination module and the active contour module, so as for the geometric center axis computing module to calculate geometric center axes. The view angle selection module then rotates the 3D image according to the view angle data received and modifies the 2D image files accordingly to generate plural cross-section images of the 3D image. Finally, the function evaluation module calculates evaluation parameters according to the geometric center axes.

  • Publication number: 20150199282
Abstract: A scramble random seed prediction method with the storage device built-in data copy back procedure is disclosed. The method may predict a scramble random seed before first time programming. The data may be programmed with the scramble random seed based on the pager number of the block B, not block A, before programming data to block A. After data is moved from block A to block B with the storage device built-in data copy back procedure, the data in block B may be have the best scramble random seed. Therefore, compared to the conventional method of scrambling data or data movement, the moved data of this invention may be much more stable with the storage device data copy back procedure.

  • Publication number: 20130264971
Abstract: Methods of supporting DALI protocol between DALI controllers and devices over an intermediate communication protocol are disclosed. We will describe an implementation of the invention using the mesh wireless network prescribed by IEEE 802.15.4 as an intermediate protocol where it's long latency and highly variable delay characteristics poses a significant challenge to maintain adherence with the DALI specification. For practitioners skilled in the art it is obvious that the invention is also applicable to many other communication mediums and protocols, including wired networking such as Ethernet and Wifi networking such as IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n. Additionally, the invention is applicable to transport other control protocols where specification limits the duration between forward messages and associated reverse replies.

  • Patent number: 8487274
Abstract: The present invention provides a stroboscopic optical image mapping system comprising a control module, an optical module, and an image acquiring unit. The control unit forms a delayed pulse signal by modulating a first pulse signal having a plurality of pulses with a pulse period, wherein a time interval between two adjacent pulses of the delayed pulse signal has a time difference with respect to the pulse period. The optical module provides an incident light to be projected on an organic object, which has a dye therein and is stimulated by a second pulse signal for generating a sequential action potential. The fluorescence generates from the dye inside the organic object, which corresponds to the intensity of the sequential action potential. The image acquiring unit is actuated to acquire the fluorescent light according to the delayed pulse signal, thereby forming a plurality of fluorescent images.

  • Publication number: 20130170720
Abstract: An evaluation system for determination of cardiovascular function parameters using ultrasound images is provided. The evaluation system includes a data reading module, a 2D image generating module, a contour determination module, an active contour module, a geometric center axis computing module, and a function evaluation module. After reading cardiovascular ultrasonographic files with the data reading module, the 2D image generating module displays 2D images. Then, active contours are generated by the contour determination module and the active contour module, so as for the geometric center axis computing module to calculate geometric center axes. Finally, the function evaluation module calculates evaluation parameters according to the geometric center axes. Thus, evaluation parameters can be derived from cardiovascular ultrasound images for clinical diagnosis in the evaluation of cardiovascular functions.

  • Patent number: 8457312
Abstract: An apparatus in a video signal transmission system for measuring cable length and compensating for cable loss is described. A number of pilot signals of different frequencies are compressed into one of the three color signals during the vertical sync periods in a time-division manner. The vertical and horizontal sync signals are compressed into the other two color signals. The video signal is transmitted over a cable having at least three pairs of wires, each color signal being transmitted by one pair of wires. A pilot signal converting circuit obtains the levels of the pilot signals transmitted by the cable. A compensation control circuit averages the levels of the multiple pilot signals of different frequencies over a number of vertical sync periods, and generates compensation control signals based on the average level of the pilot signals. The compensation control signals are used to perform video signal compensation.
