Abstract: The present invention discloses a method, system, and device for admission control and pertains to the communications field. The method includes: admitting a subscriber for watching a multicast video only if each multicast bandwidth management device has sufficient remaining bandwidth after receiving a multicast video request from the subscriber; refusing the subscriber for watching the multicast video if any multicast bandwidth management device has insufficient bandwidth and fails to borrow bandwidth from a unicast bandwidth management device; and after receiving a unicast video request from the subscriber, admitting the subscriber for watching a unicast video only if remaining unicast bandwidth corresponding to a multicast bandwidth management device in each level is sufficient, or else, refusing the subscriber for watching the unicast video. Through bandwidth negotiation between the unicast bandwidth management device and each multicast bandwidth management device, admission control is implemented.

Abstract: A window structure includes a window, a design layer structure on the window, a light shield layer on the design layer structure, and a light absorption layer. The design layer structure includes a first hole exposing a portion of the window. The light shield layer includes a second hole in fluid communication with the first hole. The light absorption layer covers at least a portion of the design layer structure exposed by the first and second holes, and includes a third hole exposing a portion of the window. By including the light absorption layer of a gray or black color to cover exposed portions of the design layer structure, a vignette about an image caused by the design layer structure is prevented.

Abstract: A surgical wound closure device comprising multiple layers joined at only one edge of each layer in a book-like arrangement and having opposite unjoined edges, including a substrate having a proximal surface and a distal surface; a drape having a proximal surface and a distal surface, and being disposed proximally to said substrate; and an adhesive layer having a proximal surface and a distal surface; said drape being disposed releasably adherently to said distal surface of said adhesive layer. Abstract: A method for repairing friable tissue having a defect therein includes providing a looped barbed suture having a plurality of barbs extending outwardly therefrom along at least a portion of a length thereof, and having first and second ends, first and second end portions and a middle portion therebetween. The first and second ends are fixedly coupled to a single needle, and the plurality of barbs extends outwardly away from the needle. The steps further include placing the looped barbed suture around an outer surface of the friable tissue in a spaced apart configuration and so as to extend across the defect, passing the needle through the friable tissue and around the middle portion of the looped barbed suture one or more times at the middle portion, and removing the needle from the looped barbed suture.

The front and rear seats can be arranged to face the same direction or to face each other.

Abstract: A modular flooring includes a plurality of floorings and a plurality of floor connectors. Each of the floorings has at least two opposite sides respectively formed with a hidden engaged hole which is a recessed structure. When the floorings are laid adjacent to each other and the corresponding hidden engaged holes of each two of the floorings are aligned with each other, each of the floor connectors is respectively inserted into the corresponding hidden engaged holes, so that the floorings adjacent to each other can be combined mutually. As a result, the assembling convenience and the flexibility of the modular flooring are increased.

Abstract: A looped tissue-grasping device includes a looped suture having two ends swaged to a needle and a plurality of tissue-grasping elements provided on the looped suture. The device is used for joining bodily tissue in surgical applications and wound repair. The configuration of the tissue-grasping elements permit movement of the suture through the tissue in the direction the needle is pulled and, prevent slippage or movement of the suture in a direction opposite to the direction of movement of the needle.

Abstract: A front wheel assembly for baby strollers includes a positioning member connected to a front frame of the stroller and a connection unit is inserted into the positioning member. A connection piece has two ends respectively inserted into the positioning member and a connection member to which the front wheels are connected. Two pins extend through two inclined guide slots in a button in the insertion of the connection unit and are engaged with an annular groove of the connection piece so as to connect the positioning member and the connection member. When the button is pushed downward, the two pins are guide to separated in opposite directions so that the connection member together with the connection piece can be removed from the positioning member.

Abstract: A non-volatile lubricious coating composition is provided for use with medical devices, such as hypodermic needles, catheters, and the like. The coating composition includes a first siloxane polymer having a very low viscosity less than about 50 centistokes, a second siloxane polymer having a high viscosity greater than about 1,000 centistokes, a reactive silicone polymer which is capable of crosslinking upon exposure to radiation, such as a UV curable silicone acrylate, and a photoinitiator to accelerate cross-linking of the reactive silicone polymer. The coating composition may further include an aminofunctional siloxane polymer to promote adhesion to metal surfaces when used with needles. The coating composition provides flowability without the need for any volatile organic solvent, and is capable of curing to provide adhesion and lubricity.

According to the method, a first gate structure and a second gate structure are formed on a semiconductor substrate, wherein the first and second gate structures are isolated from one another. One or more first double diffused regions are formed adjacent to the first gate structure in the semiconductor substrate. One or more second double diffused regions are formed adjacent to the second gate structure in the semiconductor substrate. One or more first source/drain regions are formed within the first double diffused regions. One or more second source/drain regions are formed within the second double diffused regions. The first double diffused regions function as one or more lightly doped source/drain regions for the low voltage device.

Abstract: A power metal-oxide semiconductor device provides an P-type base region that includes the N+ device source and is biased differently than the P-type substrate by application of an electrical load. In one embodiment, an LDMOS device with a NPN configuration is used but the coupling of the device source to the base contact prevents the NPN parasitic device from operating. The P-type base is formed in an N-well that separates the base from the P-type substrate and surrounding P-wells. Vertical punch-through is prevented by a high-impurity N+ buried layer that separates the N-well from the P-type substrate.

Abstract: A network call director telephone includes a dome shaped housing inside which is an electronic circuit, an actuating switch and a microphone, outside which is an insertion groove, a plurality of air vents, a through hole for connecting external earphone or loud-speaker, a first cord connected a handset which has a microphone in upper portion and an acoustic receiver in the lower portion. The handset is able to anchor into the insertion groove with its tip lower end touching the actuating switch. A second cord respectively connects to a transmitter clip and an acoustic clip which are respectively inserting into their relevant sockets in a computer.
