  • Publication number: 20240086495
Abstract: First images that are screenshots from a first version of a software component are obtained. Second images that are screenshots from a second version are obtained. A collection of image deviations that includes pair-wise image deviations between pairs of images are identified. A pair of images includes a first image from the first images and a corresponding second image from the second images. An image deviation indicates a portion of the second image identified as differing from a spatially corresponding portion of the first image. The image deviations are grouped into deviation groups. At least some of the second images are associated with at least some of the deviation groups. A subset of the second images corresponding to a deviation group is output responsive to a selection of an indication of the deviation group.

  • Patent number: 11921699
Abstract: Lease-based consistency may be implemented for databases to handle failovers. A database node may obtain a consistency lease that describes a point in time determined from a time-to-live amount added to a consistent point in time for database data. While the consistency lease is valid, Multi-version Concurrency Control (MVCC) snapshots assigned by the database node can be used to handle requests to access the database data. Once expired, the database node may have to renew the consistency lease in order to continue to handle write and read requests.

  • Patent number: 11886932
Abstract: Reliability monitoring can be performed for compute instances in a cluster with auto-scaling capability. Such monitoring can analyze state information for various instances, such as spot instances, to determine when an interruption or termination is to occur. An impact assessor can determine the impact on performance due to any such interruption or termination, and if necessary to maintain at least a minimum level of performance then an action performer can obtain additional or alternate instances, which may be of a different type, to make up for lost capacity. Any tasks being performed can be migrated to the newly-allocated instances without any failures or significant impact on performance, and the previously-utilized instances can be released corresponding to the termination or interruption.

  • Publication number: 20230412155
Abstract: A low power crystal oscillator circuit has a high power part and a low power part. Crystal oscillation is initialized using the high power part. An automatic amplitude control circuit includes a current subtractor that decreases current in the high power part as an amplitude of the crystal oscillation increases. A current limiting circuit may limit current in the low power part in order to further reduce power consumption by the low power crystal oscillator circuit. Additionally, an automatic amplitude detection circuit may turn off the high power part after the amplitude of the crystal oscillation reaches a predetermined level in order to further reduce power consumption of the low power crystal oscillator circuit, and may turn back on the high power part after the amplitude of the crystal oscillation reaches a second predetermined level in order to maintain the crystal oscillation.

  • Patent number: 11847466
Abstract: In described examples, an integrated circuit (IC) includes a first temperature sensor, a processor, a second temperature sensor, and a reset module. The first sensor senses a first body temperature of the IC. The processor asserts a thermal shutdown signal if the first body temperature exceeds a first threshold. In response to the thermal shutdown signal, the second sensor asserts a reset request signal and senses a second body temperature of the IC. If the second body temperature is less than a second threshold, the second sensor asserts a reset end signal. The reset module outputs a system reset signal to the first sensor and the processor if the reset request signal is asserted, and outputs a system recovery signal if the reset end signal is asserted. The first sensor and the processor deactivate if the system reset signal is asserted, and activate if the system recovery signal is asserted.
