  • Patent number: 11949659
Abstract: A first packet of a packet flow is received at a classifying network device. The first packet is forwarded from the classifying network device to a firewall network device. An indication that the packet flow is to be offloaded is received at the classifying network device. Data is stored at the classifying network device indicating that the packet flow is to be offloaded. A non-control packet of the packet flow is received at the classifying network device. A determination is made that the non-control packet belongs to the packet flow by comparing data contained in the non-control packet to the stored data. The non-control packet of the packet flow is directed to a processing entity in response to the determining. A control packet of the packet flow is received at the classifying network device. The control packet of the packet flow is directed to the firewall network device.

  • Patent number: 11947589
Abstract: Systems and methods directed to returning personalized image-based search results are described. In examples, a query including an image may be received, and a personalized item embedding may be generated based on the image and user profile information associated with a user. Further, a plurality of candidate images may be obtained based on the personalized item embedding. The candidate images may then be ranked according to a predicted level of user engagement for a user, and then diversified to ensure visual diversity among the ranked images. A portion of the diversified images may then be returned in response to an image-based search.

  • Patent number: 11932242
Abstract: Techniques for receiving and processing sensor data captured by a fleet of vehicle are discussed herein. In some examples, a fleet dashcam system can receive sensor data captured by electronic devices on a fleet of vehicles and can use that data to detect collision and near-collision events. The data of the collision or near-collision event can be used to determine a simulation scenario and a response of an autonomous vehicle control to the simulation scenario and/or it can be used to create a collision heat map to aid in operation of an autonomous vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240081941
Abstract: Ultrasound imaging is a non-invasive, non-radioactive, and low cost technology for diagnosis and identification of implantable medical devices in real time. Developing new ultrasound activated coatings is important to broaden the utility of in vivo marking by ultrasound imaging. Ultrasound responsive macro-phase segregated micro-composite thin films were developed to be coated on medical devices composed of multiple materials and with multiple shapes and varying surface area. The macro-phase segregated films having silica micro-shells in polycyanoacrylate produces strong color Doppler signals with the use of a standard clinical ultrasound transducer. Electron microscopy showed a macro-phase separation during slow curing of the cyanoacrylate adhesive, as air-filled silica micro-shells were driven to the surface of the film. The air sealed in the hollow space of the silica shells acted as an ultrasound contrast agent and echo decorrelation of air exposed to ultrasound waves produces color Doppler signals.

  • Publication number: 20240078737
Abstract: A sliced graphics processing unit (GPU) architecture in processor-based devices is disclosed. In some aspects, a GPU based on a sliced GPU architecture includes multiple hardware slices. The GPU further includes a command processor (CP) circuit and an unslice primitive controller (PC_US). Upon receiving a graphics instruction from a central processing unit (CPU), the CP circuit determines a graphics workload, and transmits the graphics workload to the PC_US. The PC_US then partitions the graphics workload into multiple subbatches and distributes each subbatch to a PC_S of a hardware slice for processing.

  • Publication number: 20240078961
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein to control brightness based on image content or other inputs to a display system. A dual-control system may integrate both slow control operations and fast control operations into a cohesive brightness management system. By using both shorter-term (e.g., fast control) and longer-term (e.g., slow control) brightness adjustment operations, the electronic device may quickly respond to high luminance and high brightness situations that may cause burn-in into the display, image artifacts, or other damage. Responding quickly to these high consumption situations may prevent damage or perceivable upset to an ongoing process, among other benefits.

  • Patent number: 11924104
Abstract: This application relates to a distributed software-defined network (“DSDN”) for dynamically configuring and managing a wireless communication network. A plurality of DSDN nodes are connected to each other via a plurality of communication paths. Each communication path directly connects two DSDN nodes. Each DSDN node can provide DSDN configurations across diverse and disparate networks by normalizing its data plane network traffic through translation and packet encapsulation. Furthermore, the DSDN node can provide an architecture tolerant of network interruptions and network system fluctuations. For example, in the case of any one of the DSDN node's network interruptions from other DSDN nodes, the DSDN can provide network reconfiguration using network configuration rules stored in a control plane of each DSDN node.
