  • Patent number: 11411173
Abstract: Material stacks for perpendicular spin transfer torque memory (pSTTM) devices, pSTTM devices and computing platforms employing such material stacks, and methods for forming them are discussed. The material stacks include a cladding layer of predominantly tungsten on a protective layer, which is in turn on an oxide capping layer over a magnetic junction stack. The cladding layer reduces oxygen dissociation from the oxide capping layer for improved thermal stability and retention.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage media, for validation of mobile device workflows. In some implementations, a mobile device application to be tested is identified. An installation of the application on each of a plurality of remote mobile devices, including mobile devices having different hardware configurations and different operating system configurations, is initiated. Usage of the application by instructing the remote mobile devices to perform a series of operations using the application is simulated. Performance of the respective mobile devices during the simulated usage is measured. A document indicating performance of the application across the different mobile device configurations is generated.

  • Publication number: 20220245184
Abstract: A method for generating a set of concepts related to a target concept includes accessing a set of candidate concepts, embedding the target concept and the set of candidate concepts in a semantic vector space, selecting one or more intermediate concepts from the set of candidate concepts in response to determining whether each embedded candidate concept in the set of embedded candidate concepts satisfies a predetermined relationship with the embedded target concept, and filtering the one or more intermediate concepts to yield the set of concepts related to the target concept. The method may further include generating a multiple-choice question in which the target concept corresponds to a correct answer choice and the set of concepts related to the target concept correspond to distractors.

  • Patent number: 11400657
Abstract: Composite laminates fabricated from one or more respective laminae of composite material (e.g., fiber-reinforced polymers) may be pre-formed and fully cured, yet configured to be selectively conformable to a desired radius of curvature. To repair a damaged composite structure, a plurality of such composite laminates may be bonded together to form a repair part that may be bolted to or otherwise secured to the damaged composite structure, thereby repairing the structure using repair parts that may match the parent material of the damaged composite structure. Methods of forming said repair parts from a plurality of such composite laminates may provide advantages in costs and lead time, over conventional techniques. Kits may include a plurality of such pre-formed and cured composite laminates that may be stacked and combined together in a plurality of different arrangements to create a customizable repair part for a given damaged composite structure.

  • Publication number: 20220236993
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for fetch stage handling of indirect jumps in a processor pipeline. For example, a method includes detecting a sequence of instructions fetched by a processor core, wherein the sequence of instructions includes a first instruction, with a result that depends on an immediate field of the first instruction and a program counter value, followed by a second instruction that is an indirect jump instruction; responsive to detection of the sequence of instructions, preventing an indirect jump target predictor circuit from generating a target address prediction for the second instruction; and, responsive to detection of the sequence of instructions, determining a target address for the second instruction before the first instruction is issued to an execution stage of a pipeline of the processor core.
