    Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for self-optimization of computing environments. In some implementations, different combinations of settings used by one or more server environments are determined. Results achieved by the one or more server environments are monitored when using the different combinations of settings. Based on the monitored results, one or more performance measures are generated that correspond to each of the different combinations of settings. An updated set of settings are selected for a particular server environment based on the performance measures. The selected settings are provided for the particular server environment.

    Abstract: A vehicle locating assembly for locating a suspect licensed vehicle includes a computer, a plurality of RFID tags, and a plurality of interrogators. A database is positioned on the computer and comprises a list of licensed vehicles, each of which is assigned a unique identifier. Each RFID tag is engaged to a respective license plate of a plurality of license plates, with the respective license plate being affixed to an associated licensed vehicle. The unique identifier of the associated licensed vehicle is written on the RFID tag. The interrogators are communicatively engaged to the computer and are mounted to create an array across a network of roads. The interrogator selectively powers the RFID tags so that they transmit their respective unique identifiers. The interrogator receives the respective unique identifiers and communicates them to the computer. The computer the isolates a unique identifier of a suspect licensed vehicle.

The free magnet structure includes a first free magnet on the tunnel barrier and a second free magnet above the first free magnet, wherein at least a portion of the free magnet proximal to an interface with the free magnet includes a transition metal. The free magnet structure having a transition metal between the first and the second free magnets advantageously improves the switching efficiency of the MTJ, while maintaining a thermal stability of at least 50 kT.

    Abstract: A commercial vehicle used for parcel delivery is installed with a control module. The control module communicates wirelessly with a transmitter to give control to the vehicle operator. The vehicle operator can access the vehicle's cargo compartment through the bulkhead door and/or the rear door solely by using the transmitter as opposed to manually actuating the door latch. A door actuator is added to the bulkhead door such that when the bulkhead door is wirelessly actuated the door opens without operator assistance, and the process of the door opening does not damage the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle operator can initiate the control module to allow a push-button start and stop of the vehicle's ignition system. Such elements contribute to time savings and cost savings for parcel delivery operators.
