Abstract: A computer-implemented technique is described herein for facilitating a user's interaction with graphical elements, such as emoji characters. The technique entails: presenting a collection of graphical elements on a display surface of a user interface mechanism; presenting a selector mechanism on the display surface that provides a plurality of attribute value options (such as skin tone options); receiving a selection by the user of one of the attribute value options, to provide a selected attribute value; globally modifying at least a subset of the graphical elements in the collection based on the selected attribute value, and displaying those modified graphical elements. In one approach, the technique presents the collection of graphical elements in an array that is capable of being panned along at least a first axis of movement. The technique reveals the selector mechanism when the user pans the array along a second axis of movement.

Abstract: Techniques for providing a network auditing service may be provided. Information about a configuration of a potentially compromised network of computer resources may be compared to a maintained and standard network configuration that is distinct from the potentially compromised network to determine differences. In one example, the potentially compromised network of computer resources may be periodically scanned for configuration information, which may be compared to the standard network configuration to determine if any changes have occurred that would indicate security problems. A report of the differences between the potentially compromised network and the standard network configuration information may be generated and provided for presentation.

The apparatus includes a baking tray which has a first mould and a second mould, and, preferably, an insert which is receivable in an opening formed in the second mould. The moulds are securable to one another to prevent them from separating during the baking process. The insert is held captive by the first mould or the first and second moulds combined in a position in which an internal cavity defined by an internal surface of the insert is aligned with a dough receiving cavity in the first mould when they are secured together. Also disclosed is a method of baking rolls.

Abstract: A reservoir assembly (40) comprises a container (4), a support assembly (42) on which the container (4) is mounted and fixed and a rotary electric vibrator device (44) coupled to the support assembly (42). The container holds a shear thinning additive for a plastics material. The reservoir assembly is arranged so that on operation of the device (44), an appropriate frequency and amplitude of vibration is applied to the container (4) and, therefore, its contents. As a result, a liquid dispersion in the container is shear thinned and recovery of dispersion from the container is increased.

In some examples, a request to modify an arrangement of a plurality of keys presented on the touch-sensitive input panel is generated. The keys are arranged in a first quantity of rows and are associated with a first set of characters including a first plurality of characters and a second plurality of characters. A first key is associated with the first plurality of characters, and a second key is associated with the second plurality of characters. Based on the generated request, the keys are arranged in a second quantity of rows different from the first quantity of rows. Aspects of the disclosure enable a mobile device to be customized such that a user may provide input (e.g., via typing) in a user-friendly manner.

Abstract: A closure (40) includes a body (42) with a threaded portion (44) for engaging the closure with a container. Inwards of portion (44) is a liner (46) comprising a hydrogen generating device, wherein the liner includes one layer (48) which incorporates a hydride dispersed in a polymeric matrix and, on opposite sides of layer (48) are arranged PET layers (50, 52). Layer (50) acts as a control layer to control the rate of passage of water vapour from the beverage in the container to the hydride containing layer (48) and thereby control generation of hydrogen by the hydrogen generating device. In use, water vapour passes through layer (50) and contacts the hydride associated with layer (48) which results in production of molecular hydrogen which combines with oxygen. Thereafter, a reaction between the hydrogen and oxygen takes place, catalysed by a catalyst associated with the container thereby to scavenge the oxygen.

Abstract: A food container (2) includes a rigid thermoformed plastics carton (4) which holds a dry food 6 and is closed by a removable film closure (8). The film (8) incorporates a hydride which is arranged to generate hydrogen on contact with moisture. Additionally, the film (8) is arranged to have relatively high water vapour permeability and relatively low hydrogen gas permeability. In use, water vapour from air surrounding the container (2) passes into the film (8) and reacts with the hydride to generate hydrogen. Due to the relatively low hydrogen permeability of the film (8), the hydrogen is restricted from escaping from the container. Instead, the hydrogen then reacts with any oxygen within the container in a reaction catalysed by a catalyst also associated with the film closure (8), thereby to scavenge oxygen within the container (2) and protect the food (6) from oxidation.

The active compound may be a multi-functional anhydride. The liquid formulation is suitably contacted with the polymeric material in a melt processing apparatus and suitably a cavity transfer mixer is used in the process. A fiber is suitably subsequently produced.
