  • Publication number: 20200283271
Abstract: An installation tool configured to install a machine of an elevator system, including a base section including two legs, each leg including a laterally extending gusset attached thereto. A clamp assembly is supported by the base section and includes a first bracket attached to and positioned over the two legs and a second bracket attached to and positioned over the gussets. A first tube is movably carried by the first bracket and a second tube is movably carried by the second bracket. The first and second tubes are movable in the brackets between a retracted position that positions the machine over the base section and an extended position that positions the machine in a cantilevered position adjacent the retracted position.

  • Patent number: 10768226
Abstract: According to an embodiment, a testing mechanism determines a status of circuits within a chip by analyzing fail signatures on a by-level basis to identify a high probability defect area within the chip. The testing mechanism further determines a whether functionally needed circuitry of the chip intersects with the high probability defect area within the chip and determines the status of the circuits in response to the determining of whether the functionally needed circuitry intersects with the high probability defect area.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products for generating a functional logic cone signature for circuit analysis are provided. Aspects include for each of a plurality of portions of a circuit diagram of a circuit, tracing the respective portion of the circuit diagram to identify circuit components associated with the respective portion of the circuit diagram from a starting latch to one of one or more source latches. Circuit components include circuit elements and circuit connections. Aspects include generating an ASCII representation of the respective identified circuit components for each of the plurality of portions of the circuit diagram of the circuit. Aspects include generating a plurality of hash values by applying a hashing function to each ASCII representation. Each hash value corresponds to one of the plurality of portions of the circuit diagram. Aspects also include storing the hash values in a data structure.

  • Patent number: 10458886
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a sampling apparatus having one or more support structures and two or more sampling molds operatively coupled to the one or more support structures. The two or more sampling molds may be sealed or unsealed. The sampling apparatus is pressurized with a gas and immersed in the molten metal. The two or more sampling molds become unsealed when the mold stops at least partially melt. When the sampling apparatus is depressurized the one or more unsealed sampling molds capture one or more molten metal samples. The sampling apparatus is removed from the molten metal and the samples are removed from the sampling molds and analyzed.

  • Publication number: 20190261752
Abstract: The invention relates to a collapsible luggage bag that improves maneuverability of the bag when a user is towing the bag and collapses to a reduced size to improve portability. In particular, the invention relates to a handle that is slideably interconnected to one or more stays such that the upper ends of the stays change position along the length of the handle as the handle retracts into the luggage. Further, the handle disconnects from one or more of the stays such that the handle, stays, and other frame components collapse and lie in a common plane. This collapsibility improves the portability of the luggage bag when the internal volume of the luggage bag is not used to store items.

  • Patent number: 10215804
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a method and system for testing and optimizing integrated circuit devices. Latches within an integrated circuit device that fail to operate properly are found using observed data from a test. Thereafter, a directed graph of the layout of the integrated circuit is used to find clock controllers that feed into the latches. The clock controllers that are the most likely to be at issue are ranked, then testing can be performed to confirm that a critical path can be found. The critical path can be excluded from further power optimization to maintain the performance of the integrated circuit device. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20190012204
Abstract: Various aspects include methods and computing devices implementing methods for reverse tiling of work items. Various aspects may include receiving information relating to a kernel execution, receiving information relating to a work item created for a kernel execution, and applying a reverse tiling function to produce a reverse tiling work item identifier (ID) for the work item to implement a pattern of access of the memory device resources. In various aspects, the reverse tiling function may be a static preprogrammed reverse tiling function, a a dynamically generated reverse tiling function, or a reverse tiling function selected from a plurality of reverse tiling functions. In various aspects, applying the reverse tiling function to produce the reverse tiling work item identifier for the work item may occur in response to determining that the pattern of access of a memory device resources provides a benefit over a default pattern of access.
